ejr wrote:seems to me that Jimmy was enjoying himself more than he usually does there, and that he stuck around longer. or the Today Show is just showing more candid stuff than they usually do.
I'll have to go back and watch the tape, but at one point I thought I saw a big sign that said ejr!!!

Jimmy seemed to really be feeling the song "Coast of Carolina."

It reminded me of the feeling shown while he sang "If the Phone Doesn't Ring" for Live by the Bay video.

In all the excitement of the shows, he really seems to reach within and sing with such feeling and meaning, so much more than a lot of artists do.

I saw a sign that said "Lone Palm" and "Tiki Bar"....was that them behind the sign? Or was that somebody saying HI to them? Did Matt have a sign that said something about a "term paper on JB"? Did they not allow JMP to be at his full height (blownup)? :o

I hope this means that Steve won't cut it during the next leg of the tour... Keep your fingers crossed... ;-)

I'm glad I checked this thread. I didn't realize they put Jolly Mon at the end of the show. Glad I checked the end of the tape... 8)

I watched until I saw that sign again...it said EGR in Arizona (or Phoenix.) Funny how we look for BN references everywhere! :D

I tohught they'd cut CiP since they didn't rehearse that one and it seemed like it was a spur of the moment type thing.
But it makes Katie squeal and giggle.. you just can't cut that song... even if she can't even tell you the ingredients list, and calls it 'The Cheeseburger Song".

It's so nice to see Jimmy humour her like that.. :D

Will I see you during the RM Setlist Chat on Tuesday? I am looking forward to listening again.

I wonder how many NEW songs we'll get!! WE can listen for SCOMAN so he can read and see what he missed at the show. :D
