I printed up a listing of all of the stores within 35 miles.
If I can't find em at those over the weekend, I'd like all 3 if you can spare them BB!
By the way, just heard Mac McAnally's name on the radio in Chicago!
He's playing the House of Blues Fri 8/27 between Tinley shows, and tix go on sale tomorrow. Wouldn't have the nerve to ask him to sign my butt
, but a cd would be nice!

You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say

Mac Attackers!!!
I am so pleased to see that we are all banning together to free these AMAZING cd's out of the DollarTree Store bins!!
Again, I want to empathsize that I have now been to too many of these stores, but since Bubba's no where on the left coast, I have had my own "party" freeing these CD's!!
They are OUT THERE! Don't just ask the clerks. I have been told, "we don't have any...." BUT, they are in the "electronics" department.... bottom shelf, always right beside the jewel case CD covers. Some stores will have one kind, the next store maybe 2 different titles... then another a third title... BUT, they are OUT there (Mason, are you listening to me?) Go to the dollartree's website, and print out their store locator list.
I went to Mac's official site under Merchandize and he only offers four CD's for sale.... I have found Three of them... not his latest, but the other three.
I have purchased everyone that I could find... and not making a penny off of them !! And others have emailed me to say that they are buying up what they could (SpringParrot has become my favorite girl because she has also become transformed by his talent.)
I am as far LEFT as one can get (Oregon) Most likely, I will never have a chance to see him, by himself on stage. I didn't own one single CD of his, until my accidental find. Unlike any CD that I have ever purchased (I am also a dj... I own 1000's...) I have purchased for one cut and only one or two cuts.... I get bored with the music and NEVER finish or play it again.
NOT with McAnally. I purchased my first one, not knowing any of his music and fell in love with all of it. On your first play, you are going to laugh, possibly cry, be entertained, and be in awe of his amazing talent to write, play guitar, play piano, and sing. WHOA!!
ParrotMonkey mentioned in a post which songs he loves, and that would be a fun addition to this thread... each of us telling their own stories and the songs they love.
This is the ONLY thread that I am following, so let's keep this alive. I am heading to Portland and Eugene, OR today to purchase more. (all that I can find) I will answer each of you that have PM'ed me, but right now my "mission" is to free those CD's and get them out to those who can't find them.
This is not a scam... this is just a blonde beach girl that fell in love with Buffett years ago, got tired of the tourist attractions and marketing, and found Mac in of all places a DOLLAR bin!!
Think about that for a moment...
SpringParrot, keep watch of this thread) and I am out the door to buy more up. Tell me, "am I nuts or what?????"
Sorry this got so long. Oh, if you have extras that you have found, let me know so that we can get these out to people who really want them.

I might need one of each from you if you could spare them! There are a few more stores around 1/2 - 1 hour from me, but I'll phone 1st to make sure they even carry cd's before I drive out there.
I'd like to see the the Dollar Tree corporate offices as they analyze sales and see the giant nationwide spike in Mac's cd's flying off the shelves!![]()

Captain P ~~ good idea. As I run out of my stash, I will send the word out and let's distribute this way.
Oh, I found more at an "end cap." The clerk told me that they didn't have any, and for the fun of it, I looked a little closer. 7 of them.
I wonder what Mac would think about this? Actually, I wonder if anyone besides myself, really cares.
I think I have a life.
