Buffett stadium trivia question
On September 10 and 12, 2004 Jimmy Buffett performs 2 shows at Boston's Fenway Park.
When and where was his last performance at a Major League Baseball Park?

Jimmy performed at Jacob's Field in Cleveland, Ohio in August of 1995. He was the first and only performer ever to have a concert there! My wife and I had the privilege of being there, in the fourth row I may add, and it was the same week that Jerry Garcia died. Jimmy and the band returned for the encore wearing tie-dyed shirts and sang Uncle John's Band!

BUFFETTING: The act of leaving reality and going off to see Jimmy Buffett!

Great job, parrothead216! I was there as well and it was an excellent show! The final encore of "The Night I Painted The Sky" was the best final encore I've ever witnessed.

I remember that show...sort of. I couldn't get my husband to go.....I still pout about it. (Until we moved, we went to MANY games there......the place has memories for us....so did old Municipal Stadium).parrothead216 wrote:Jimmy performed at Jacob's Field in Cleveland, Ohio in August of 1995. I was still enough of a newlywed at the time that I was trying to deny my inner Parrothead....lol....the joke is on him though....his daughter love JB's music as much as I do!!
Are you sure he's still the only concert held at The Jake? I thought they've had at least one other.

Soraya....Positive that is was the only show ever at the Jake.
The reason is...the covering for the field was left on so long that half the grass in left field and center field died. It took most of the season to get it repaired and it looked terrible.
I went to the show and was also a season ticket holder for the Indians at the time
