Can anyone let me know if it's possible to divide a 2 hr concert recorded with Sound Studio into separate tracks by song? I have a Mac.

Sorry I can't help you on that one, BrownEyed. Keep your thread up at top for a while by posting something to it every now and then, and somebody's bound to come along that can help!

I have seen that software, but have not used it. Moog or Siggumby77, may be of assistance. I am sure from posting this thread you hill be assisted by a fello parrothead.

search for a program called CD WAVE thats all im gonna say about the issue--program is easy enough virtually anyone can use it

I think cd wave is a windows ap. I found a web site that has mac stuff on it: http://www.mp3-mac.com

I am going to try some of the different apps. and if I have any luck I will let you know.

Thats all fine and dandy if you are working with WAV files. But who wants to work with a 1000mg file. So how about one to cut up MP3's? I use my Total Recorder, but it takes along time.

Yes, unfortunately CD Wave is for Windows. I record streaming audio (Real Player) using Sound Studio. I usually leave it on and save
periodically in case of crash (every 45-60 minutes) So I end up with 3 tracks that are huge and unbroken. I can go in and while listening mark the beginning and ending of songs, copy/paste and create new files for each and then make a CD with the separate tracks but I was hoping for a less time-consuming way! I'm new to this!
