Mistah Robot. . . .

I have to say that I'm a sucker for the pans, always have been. Reminds me of many a tropical breeze I have been lucky enough to feel on my skin.

That being said, is it just me or is Robert Greenidge one helluva steel drum player?

I can turn on his music, lean back and get lost in the music; drift to a completely different latitude. Being a college student, sometimes getting into a low latitude frame of mind is a damn good thing!

Not just you- the man really is one of the finest steel drum players the world has ever known.

I saw him solo at Berk's Jazz Fest a few years ago (he was supposed to play with the WA HS Steel Drum Band, but they couldn't be there). He played Stardust, and you could have heard a pin drop in the ballroom. It was amazing, better even than the piano version, although you could barely tell it wasn't a piano.

One of my friends said that that settled it, she was getting married in the Pittsburgh Zoo tropical aquarium area with him for music.
My ship she has a rudder, but I don’t know where to steer

My dream wedding band would be Jimmy and the Coral Reefers, but since Jimmy's so expensive and busy it'd be damn nice to have the CRB do a solo gig. Nothing wrong with Mac or Peter's voice, if you ask me.

Maybe I'll get lucky and a couple million dollars will fall in my lap so I can afford that band! 8)
