The Central Illinois Parrot Head Club presents Live By The Lake
2006, the 8th annual fundraising party to benefit Easter Seals, on
Saturday, July 8th at the Sale Barn in Bloomington, Illinois. The
Central Illinois Parrot Head Club is a Jimmy Buffett fan club whose
members believe in preserving our environment and supporting both
national and local causes which benefit the welfare of the
community. Live By The Lake 2006 will feature the tropical sounds of
central Illinois's premier Jimmy Buffett tribute band, Boat Drunks,
with special guests, members of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band,
Amy Lee and Doyle Grisham.

Gates open at 4:00pm, with food and beverages available for
purchase. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show
and can be purchased from any Central Illinois Parrot Head Club
member, at the Bloomington Sale Barn or by calling 888-218-8225.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a great night of Jimmy
Buffett-inspired music and fun under the stars, all for a great

I've never ventured to the Live by the Lake party...I have a few people interested (most of the virgins I took to Alpine with me this year)....seen the Boat Drunks several times and been to a few of the happy hour's...just kinda looking for info on the event...is there food available....drinks...details are kinda sketchy from everyone I talk to

there is all kinds of food being grilled and there is plenty of beer. nice, big seating area in the grass. bring blanket or lawn chair.
