WOOOOOOWEEEE, WHERE DO I START!! Let's see, got back from Mecca late last night and I had such a blast. I ran into some chums, shared water bottles of rum, met some really crazy parrotheads and made plenty of lasting friendships. It was really great meetin some new phriends like Mark, Michelle, Melissa and those two party hoppin gypsies. All I have to say about WD and Ohio is that THEY ARE A TRIP!! I think they put the GERRRR in swinger baby! There was maybe 1 or 2 periods where we all had a permanent reminder of a temporary feelin (especially after like the 6th beer and who knows how many shots of whatever we had). It was definitely party hardy time and as Will Smith would say "we were gettin jiggy with it."
The concert was definitely the best Buffett show that I've been to yet. Despite our seats (who would have guessed that row r meant that we were gonna be decor for the walls), I could see that everyone, including Bubba himself, was thoroughly enjoyin the experience. He played an awesome set list, including one of my favorites, Tryin to Reason with a Hurricane Season. It would have been nearly perfect if he also played, Tin Cup Chalice, but overall a great mix. It was pretty cool to see the video for, Take Another Road, on the big screen as he sang it.
As others have said, the best part of the show was when Bubba said that he looked forward to seein us again next year (twice even). If you haven't seen him in Sin City, make sure you clear the schedule for next year. Next time around though, I'm doin that bungee swing thing...that looks insane, but maybe it's not soooo bad when you've had a couple of margaritas.

I agree that it was a high energy show. Jimmy was in top form - but, did anyone else other than me see why????? Was it that camera in the front row taping the whole concert???? Or was he truly happy that this was his last concert (other than Hawaii, and who would be sad about going there?) for the season? Whatever his reason - it WAS a great show. Could have done without the dancing bimbos though.

ahhhh, I liked those booty boogin bimbos! They added flavor and didn't take anything away from the music. From where I was sitting, they could have been good from far, but far from good (lookin). I could tell that most of the guys were gettin into it...till their woman smacked em, that is. All I know is that they sure can shake dem hips!

Just returned from the Vegas show--Jimmy was great
This marks the 5th time I've seen him in Vegas and
there is soooo much energy. The outdoor shows are also great, but those of you Parrotheads out there who haven't experienced the "Vegas" experience need to definitely put that on your calendars for next year.
Well, need to rest up and see if I can get to Hawaii later on this week.

We were in Vegas for other reasons and saw all the parrotheads and people dressed in grass skirts. Asked what it was all about and was told Jimmy Buffet was in town. Went to the daytime party and got so into it we bought tickets from someone and purchased my grass skirt and leis and made our way to the concert. What a time! We had so much fun and enjoyed not only the music but watching the people. Our first but hopefully not our last. We may even buy a parrothead hat.
