I love how inexpensive his tickets are - we saw him for $12 here in VT. He was completely amazing and I found that at the next JB concert I had a hard time taking my eyes off him - the obvious joy he takes in performing is mesmerizing. (the fact that he's as cute as a button doesn't hurt either!)
Do I hear the theme song from "The Graduate"??

However, they've added an early show, 2:00-3:30pm I think, with doors opening around noon.
I best not delay much longer... I was waiting to find out whether my kids wanted to join me or not. Now I may change that plan entirely.
I was worried about that--if I do that, can I get you to save me a seat as I will be having a late breakfast with BN folks down near Midway before heading to the Tiki Terrace.

We'll certainly try, Ellen. It's official, my kids will be in tow.

Too funny, and proof positive you should always read the full thread (if it's a one pager!!)
I was thinking, "Ah, too bad it's a night show, I'll be headed back to Indi for my EARLY flight Monday"....then to see a matinee has been added!! --though I think buying tickets may need to wait until day-of.....suppose everyone suggests against that, huh?
Bet many people doing the night show may also go early. Or will go early and not go with their late tickets???
Hmm....????.....decisions, decisions....Jake is great, what to do?!?!?!?

I don't know if the people who ordered early enough for the evening show know about the earlier show, but it sounded like they'd have a choice to change to the early show if they wanted. I don't know this for sure, and I didn't ask specifically, but that's the impression I got. But if that is the case, maybe things will shift and more evening spots will open back up.
It also sounded like the seating is like a Japanese tepanyaki restaurant, where they assign different parties together to fill tables.

Just got 4 tix for the 2:30 show. Guy said it was half sold and there were 120 seats. Been waiting for Jake to come Chicago way! Bummed we missed the evening show, but this still looks to be a good time.
The sun is shining... it's hot and humid... and we get to enjoy some indoor tropics by sipping on tiki drinks and being mesmerized and amazed by Jake and his uke!
