"I just probably count myself as the least deserving and most appreciative musician of the year," McAnally said. "I'm equally surprised and honored to be nominated again"...
"I don't know that I've done anything to be nominated again," McAnally said. "I'm kind of a part-time session player. I will gladly accept it for the honor it is because it is voted on by the same people who do what I do. I'm quite blessed to do this for a living."
The awards ceremony will be Nov. 11 at the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville. It will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 7 p.m.

I think there may have been a link to an article to the same effect on here last week, but.... I can't believe that Mac has worked in this business, and around these artists, for so many years and is just now (i.e. over the last 12 - 18 months) starting to get the recognition he deserves for it...
