UPDATED: 1998-10-3-Las Vegas

I just saw that this week's replay is 1997-10-18-Las Vegas. I just checked my collection and all I have is a pre-Sirius recording of this show. Does anyone know if this was ever upgraded to Sirius quality on the FTP sites? I can't check jokelben as it is down. Unfortunately, I do not currently have a subscription to Sirius so I can't record the last replay which is tomorrow at 9am est. If it hasn't been upgraded, can someone grab this?

On another note, I did record the replay of 2003-08-23-Tinley Park a few weeks back. I had never seen this replayed on Sirius before and was glad to get the upgrade from the old Radio Margaritaville especially since I was at this show. I can upload this to the FTP site once it is back up and running if people do not have this upgraded version. It has a cool acoustic version of Back Where I Come From which was a rarity at that time. Let me know.

I usually capture the replays on DVR each week on the chance of getting a rare show or one that needs to be upgraded. I can check into that one this weekend. Of course, the current live shows are priority, so it may be a couple days before I get to this one.

I looked at my copy of this show which I downloaded from Jokelben, and the quality is excellent!!

Also looking at the show, it doesn't have the song Back Where I Come From.

Back Where I Come From is from the 2003 Tinley Park show I mentioned, not the Vegas show. This one I'm pretty certain has never been played on Sirius before.

The original Radio Margaritaville recording of 1997-Las Vegas would sound good, but not as good as the Sirius version. I know I'm a bit of an audio snob, but I'm always looking for the best version possible.

I agree. It would be cool if they would do some replays from way back for each of the venues he plays. It seems like most of the replays are from the last 10 years or so.

I know I would love to have a better copy of Houston 2002, and a copy of the early 90s shows from Houston as well.

At some point last week, they changed the information on the Radio Margaritaville page to list last week's replay as 1998-10-3-Las Vegas. If this update is correct, I'm quite positive that this one has never been played on Radio Margaritaville.

SunLover, I know your busy with the current shows (thank you for that ) but if you recorded this show, I'm sure everyone would love to hear a new Carnival show when you get the chance.
