Jimmy also played Oklahoma...right? Did he play St Louis. (Edit. I see it was Louisville.)

Pretty expensive to attend the Frisco show.
He played Tulsa in December. I was suprised at Frisco that there were so many empty seats. We were in great seats and there were plenty of empty ones around us. I'm sure Austin, Houston and Ft. Worth put a damper on Frisco.

Hot? Imagine if we hadn't had those clouds?

Coz
Seen him inside at Tulsa, 3X outside at Frisco......now I need a beach!

Houston in June 2012 was the hottest show ever in Texas.

Ticket scalpers everywhere in The Woodlands this year could not unload tickets.

Every ticket sold under the covered pavilion this year and lots of empty seats?? Go figure why the seats are empty.

How can tickets be sold out and then a bunch released closer to the show date?

Too many games to sell tickets.

Yes, I know season ticket holders can turn theirs in later. Yes, I know compts to friends and Coral Reefers can be turned in later if not shared.

It never makes sense to see so many empty seats.

GW has had plenty of seating available the last several years, even though he now only does one show. Is it time for Jimmy to think about smaller venues? Maybe. Probably.

I do look forward to Jimmy in his old age doing (hopefully) an intimate acoustic show in a little theatre or club. But my first choice is always to see him outside and I'm struggling to come up with smaller outside venues. In the northeast, Monmouth Park (NJ) is supposed to host concerts beginning in 2015, 3,500 covered seats along with lawn for another 4,000 fans. Meadowbrook (NH) is another nice outdoor place with about 8000 seats.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Wonder about Margaritaville Biloxi?
Perfect for boats to pull up for a show.

Marg bossier resort has a great outdoor pool area. (Small)

Destin? WPB?

Landshark landing Pensacola.

Jimmy's at the Beachcomber in waikiki.

So many special places.

Flamingo Pool for Grand Opening was a lot of trouble, but a unique venue.

The Videos are available for this show! You can download individual videos of the show or the entire show. Because of the file sizes, the videos are not on the SunLover or Jokelben FTP servers. The videos are stored on Box.com, which is cloud based file storage.

FTP downloads are not available, but you can download multiple files very easily in just a few clicks. Individual files are downloaded as .mp4 videos. If you select multiple files or the entire folder, it will download as a .zip file. Users running Windows XP or higher and Mac users can unzip the files within the operating systems. You may also use a third party compression program such as WinRar or WinZip for Windows or use Zipeg or StuffIt for Mac.

Show Notes
  • The videos are .mp4 HD format at 2Mbps encoding. Individual files range from 55MB to over 100MB. The entire show can be up to 2GB total.
  • For now, to avoid any possible issues with Margaritaville TV, I recommend that users not post these videos to Youtube, Vimeo, or similar streaming sites. We hope they won't shut down their site and/or ask us to shut down the video collection.
  • The tracks are cut for continuous playback without fades, like the .mp3 files.
  • The track listing is slightly different from the .mp3 audio files. Lovely Cruise (instrumental) and Summertime Blues are a single track. This shifts the track count down by one.
  • The file names do not include the song titles. They are named as "buffett_citydate_xx" where "citydate" displays the show location and "xx" is the track number.
  • Depending on file space limitations, older shows may be pulled offline to make room for newer shows. If I have to take any shows offline, I will post messages in this forum before taking any shows down.

If you are not using iTunes for this process, you should be able to navigate directly to the download links, then save them to your phone. Go back to page 1 of this thread and click on the album cover picture. It will take you to the links. From there, you should be able to do a "long press" on each link to download to the phone.

Hope this helps...
