Ok, I'll admit, I may have went a little overboard when I asked for a priest to come in and read me my last rights.

I think you have the police and the priesthood a little confused here. The police read you your rights. The priests administers your last rites. I am thinking in your fevered delirium that you did not realize the ER staff had called the SWAT team to get you out of there!jbfinscj wrote:sistergoldenhair wrote:Aloha! Good morning. Let's see, when I went to the state park yesterday afternoon it was 35 degrees. About 11:15 last night, it was 55. A little after midnight when I went to bed it was 61. Right now it's 34.
There are 2 Mardi Gras celebrations that I know of, one about 7 or 8 miles to the south at the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet and the other about 20 miles to the north at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. It's raining now but if it clears up maybe I'll go to the one at Barefoot Landing. That way if the weather turns bad again I can get in my car, drive 2 miles south on Hwy. 17 and go to the Hooters in North Myrtle Beach.

Snow day and "Liberal Leave" policies in effect in D.C.!
I think this means that
Liberals may stay home today and do nothing!
Conservatives are required to go in and do nothing!
Nothing will get done in D.C.! But we can blame the weather. Apparently.

Morning BN
It's sunny, but colder than we like.
I understand there have been snowflakes and/or sleet in the area.
brrrrrr
No, I'm not complaining, this is nothing compared to our friends dealing with sooo much snow and no power.

Quiet here today, we gonna make it to page 2?
Can't stand the cold, supposed to be 50 today but we haven't seen 40 yet. Not even going out to get the mail.

Re: Twelve Volt Man Tuesday@ the MSC
I decided not to go to either of the Mardi Gras celebrations. They both involve being outdoors, it's cold, windy, damp and just nasty out. I didn't stop at Hooters either, which means I have to forage for food now because I was out all afternoon and I haven't eaten since breakfast.

We are having red beans and rice in honor of Fat Tuesday. There will be plenty if you want to head this wayLIPH wrote:I decided not to go to either of the Mardi Gras celebrations. We're having pork. Which came from a pig. Which was undoubtedly fat. So, there ya go.springparrot wrote:We are having red beans and rice in honor of Fat Tuesday. The red beans and rice sounds like a nice complement to the pork. Can ya email me some?
