Morning all -15 without the wind chill....I think I heard -35 to -45 with wind chill....I don't know who p*** off Mother Nature , but stop. enough is enough.

Good morning. It was 34 degrees when I woke up, it's 28 now. We have a winter weather advisory, it started raining a little while ago and we might get freezing rain, snow and sleet. Well, it's February. My first 2 winters here it snowed once each year and both times it was in February so I guess we're due for our annual inch.

The rain stopped, maybe I'll take a stroll around the neighborhood and see if there's any ice on the palm trees.

So much for that idea. I went downstairs to throw my garbage out and it started raining again. There's a layer of ice on all the cars in the parking lot and there was a guy out there in shorts and a t-shirt scraping the ice off his car.

We had some weather scares last night....ice and snow was forecast, but so far, we have missed it all....and I'm not complaining. If you think the East shuts down with ice, try a 1/16 of ice in Houston area.
