Thanks for this! I haven't figured out how to capture these since they changes how they stream them.

As I've said before:

I know that as of the key west show there is a new way YouTube does handle the live stream these shows. I will not go into the technical side of YouTube live streams as I have found that since I wrote my guide on how to Rip YouTube shows last year, it's become increasingly complex. The best way to explain is with an analogy of sorts while also explaining Cryptography.

Live streaming link method version 1, as I will call it was very simple to get the proper stream playlist file that the live streams use as I detailed in a post in another thread about 1 year ago. All I would have to do is play the link and use developer tools to get the playlist file. (The Developer Tools (DevTools for short), are a set of web authoring and debugging tools built into a web browser. The DevTools provide web developers deep access into the internals of the browser and their web application. Use the DevTools to efficiently track down layout issues, set JavaScript breakpoints, and get insights for code optimization.)

Live streaming link method version 2 was more of a simple substitution chipher. This means that each Latin letter is simply replaced with a new symbol. The script can be translated into English simply by learning each symbol, or by looking it up in a table. For the live streams it would be certain aspects of links that used percent-encoding that one who would know about URL Encoding (other name for percent encoding) can easily pick-up and also determining what link was needed to get to the playlist file.

Live streaming link method version 3 (current) is not for the faint of heart. Its more along the lines of an autokey cipher with the needed working knowledge of how websites work. In an autokey chipher to decode a message, the first symbol's value is translated directly into a character (0='A', 1='B', and so on). For the remaining letters, you subtract the previous symbol's numerical value. If the result is less than zero, you add 26. Then that number is converted into a character as before. That's the best way to put that as I am still working on a quick solution to method 3.

After finally watching the entire show, it is kind of cool to hear the waves on Ragtop Day. I know they didn't intend that but it works pretty well! Nice effect!

Again, thanks so much!

This looks like such a great concert. I looked at the download but it's like 2.7gb and my pc can't handle that unfortunately. Is the replay posted online any where to watch do you know?

I love the Earth in the background, makes it look like they're jammin on the moon.

They don't post replays online unless it is on the Margaritaville TV rebroadcast page http://www.margaritaville.tv/rebroadcast this page changes every Friday afternoon to a different concert.

You can download the shows to a flash drive or external hard drive instead of straight to your computer

It was a great show! It was great to be there, and it has been real treasure to rewatch.

Get an external hard drive and dowoad it to that. You can then plug it into any computer and watch if you like. You can also convert the download file to a MP4 using a program (free) called Handbrake and then watch it on iTunes. Handbrake is easy for tech illiterates like myself to use.
