Anyone ever heard why this grill never caught on...I almost grabbed one back in 2010 on clearance but thought it would go cheaper than the $90 that Meijer was asking and someone else got it.
They introduced it in 2009 and it was discontinued around 2010.....
I mention this because it somehow came up in a discussion about grills today and I looked to see if they ever brought it back...they didn't....
In fact I could only find one other tailgate grill like it on Amazon and that company sells it for $500.
I wondered if they bought out the patent since it's almost an exact company structurally or if they just pulled the licensing from Jimmy leading to only one year on the market at a lot less than $500

That's it! Agree - cool concept, but far to expensive, for that small-ish grill! Almost talked myself into one (after a few too many one night).SeattleParrotHead wrote: July 27, 2022 9:24 pm I thought they were kinda neatl but too expensive.

Re: The old Margaritaville trailer hitch grill
I was gifted one about 10 years ago and actually will be giving it to a friend this week who tailgates a lot more than I do these days.
It was legit and works great. Probably the best product they have put out
