I have an exciting day planned. I have to bring my car in for service (oil change and tire rotation), then I'll stop at the supermarket on the way home

Going to start packing today, so I can get a jump start for our trip.
Another trip?! How exciting! Where to this time?

Today is World UFO Day. I have never seen a UFO. This month is National Bison Month. I have never seen a bison but I have eaten bison burgers.
Never seen a UFO either, but I have seen plenty of bison, not just out west where there were lots of them, but also in Pennsylvania, where there was a farm that raised bison only about 30 minutes west of our home.

To the Chicago area first. Get to visit my old neighborhood of Romeoville, see my former neighbor and her daughter (one of my good friends growing up), have a short visit with my best friend in High School, and meet Parrotsgirl (Lisa) for the first time.
Then we'll drive up to Lake Geneva Wisconsin (I used to go there as a kid) where E has business meetings, and I get to hang by the pool during the day, and attend dinners with him.
I decided to go to Bohemian Bull, Wednesday is half price burger day. I started with a Sierra Nevada Summerfest because it's the beer of the month and it's only $5. For round two I tried something because of the name, they have a hard seltzer called Purple Stuff. It looks and tastes like grape soda. I was never much of a soda drinker but this is pretty good.
We just had lunch time visitors from PA -- Anna & Tim (Backstreet77) & their 2 daughters. Tim was the first BNer we met a long time ago . They are from near Hershey PA. They were our first "up north" visitors last year at this time -- which was 1 week after we were here for good.
Sweltering hot today. Cold lunch out (sushi) and now Mr Lime is prepping up light dinner.

We worked at a golf event where the drink in the comp tents was a Transfusion - vodka, Welch’s grape juice, soda. Tasty and refreshing enough but haven’t seen or heard of it outside of golf circles.
Happy hump day, y’all!
And gorgeous pics, SPH!
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Here's the view from my window on the world this week in Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda in Northern Italy:
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
In case anyone needed to know.... I hate packing. I went from one large to one medium and one small. Because of weight. So except for what I have to throw in Friday morning before we leave, I'm done.

Ah YES! I remember you mentioning a while back that you guys were finally going to meet! Very cool!
Enjoy your visit to your old stomping ground and Lake Geneva, too. Being a guest at those conference things is the best gig!
