Smokey SATURDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. Pittsburgh has had no wind or uplifting air to clear out the fireworks smoke. Cincinatti showed the same. Wedidn't have as much noise in the country as we used to have.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill. No problem clearing out the fireworks smoke here. It's been raining since I woke up this morning and Tropical Storm Chantal is on the way, that'll take care of the smoke.
I went online to see how the Pelicans did last night, they won again. They had the worst record in the league in the first half of the season. So far they've played 13 games in the second half and they're 11-2. I went to one game each month last year. I've only been to 2 games so far this year. Maybe I should go to 2 games this month to keep my 1/month average going.

We're doing a whole lot of nuthin today. The fireworks display in our community is tonight but we'll be staying at home. People are already losing their minds over non residents at the beaches and people blocking off parking spaces at the beach lots for prime fireworks watching spots... just more reasons why we can't wait to sell this place and start building the new house back out in the boonies!

The rain stopped and it's semi-sunny out, maybe I'll go out and do stuff before the storm gets here.

So, it finally happened.
Lisa and I got to meet in person, after 24 years of only online.
And we spent 3 hours together.
We laughed and cried (mostly from happiness).
And the 2 breweries we went to were great.

I must have my BNers mixed up, I thought Lisa was from New Hampshire or Massachusetts or one of those other I-95 states north of Long Island.SMLCHNG wrote: July 5, 2025 5:05 pm So, it finally happened.Lisa and I got to meet in person, after 24 years of only online.

Nah, you don't. Same Lisa, but she moved to the Chicago area a couple of years ago to be closer to her daughter and SIL (Amanda and Jason), and grandsons.LIPH wrote: July 5, 2025 6:02 pm I must have my BNers mixed up, I thought Lisa was from New Hampshire or Massachusetts or one of those other I-95 states north of Long Island.![]()

I believe she is from MA originally, but had been in NH for many years until relocating to IL.
I had met her at Great Woods I think it may have been the same show I met John (PH 911) and Robin (TropicGal)... if so, that would have been in 2002.
