Can you believe it? One week out from the first day of August, oh my
Beyond a graduate's open house we'll attend tomorrow pretty much ZERO is on the planned agenda this weekend.
We'll see how that deviates as it progresses though.
Enjoy your 25th day of July everybody!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Checking back this morning about my car.. $2200 and counting. In the meantime, I'm picking up my new glasses this morning using E's car, then stopping at the grocery store for a few things.
Tomorrow we're attending a funeral of a former co-worker of E's.
Sunday we're just gonna stay home, and enjoy the A/C, as it's supposed to be close to 100.

Hi there! Look at it this way, Penny, the fix on your car is equal to only a handful of monthly payments on a new car. It may last for years now.
Good thought, Bill... and I'm trying. They found where the largest coolant leak is coming from and the new part is $1000, so I'm up to $3300. However, they also found where the oil leak is coming from, and it's the oil pan, so they're fixing that, and doing an oil change, for no charge.
I had a 1 hour chair yoga session this morning. We just got back from 2 hours at the pool. We'll return at 5 for a "happy hour" with some neighbors. That is unless the weather craps out - then everyone will come here.
Good afternoon. I was thinking about going to the Pelicans game tonight, they're doing a Christmas in July promotion, but the heat index is 103. I don't want to be outside for 2 1/2-3 hours in that kind of weather.
I just spoke to the folks where my car is. Won't be done until tomorrow. That’s fine. They're making sure it's all done right. But I found out my nosy, busy-body neighbor went up there (he goes there often) to check on my car!! What a jerk.
Enjoy your evening, Linda!
I wouldn't go out in that weather for that long either, Larry!

Glad they will have Betsy ready to go tomorrow. It's a lot of $$ to put into a car that age, but as someone said yesterday, it beats taking on a car payment if you need one to finance a new one.
WTH??!! He is a Class A JERK!
And I agree with you and Larry... that heat index would keep me inside as well!
