When I left the brewery yesterday afternoon I was thinking about going to Total Wine to replenish my beer supply, but I decided not to. Total Wine is north of the brewery and I live south of the brewery. I have an appointment to donate blood at 11:00 this morning. The blood drive is at the mall. Total Wine is less than a mile from the mall. I'll go beer shopping after I donate blood.
The electrician was here Tuesday and finished the job about 4:45. They charge a 3.5% fee if you pay with a credit card and I don't carry a lot of cash so I paid with a check. He didn't waste any time getting to the bank,my check cleared already.

Curious about the venue in Holmdel NJ where the CRB are playing tonight. As it's not a staple of a particular major city, just wondering if the venue has any special vibe or provides any nice nuances to it? If anyone has been there please chime in.

Hello! We were at Holmdel with Moog & Nicholas, and a few other BNers. I don't really remember much about the venue but I do remember we had a great time .
After I donated blood I left the mall to go to Total Wine. There's an intersection about 1/2 mile down the road where I have to turn left, there's a traffic light and a left turn lane at the intersection. I get there and the light's red, not just for the left turn lane but for the street I'm on, the cross street has the green light. There's a guy in a big a$$ pickup truck behind me. He pulls out of the left turn lane, goes around me and makes a left turn on the red light. With a police officer right there because there had been an accident in the intersection and the officer was doing the accident report. I guess the dipstick thought the officer was too busy to go after him and give him a ticket.
Soooo, visit to the eye doc, they're going to change my prescription just a bit, but as the doc said, it's just a 'band-aid', and I'm looking at Cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Probably schedule it in October. Wheee.. (some folks have said, yay to no glasses, but I don't like the way I look without glasses. I've had glasses for over 55 years))!!
Hi there! I helped a friend move some furniture, picked up artwork from a gallery and met Anne for lunch.
Holmdel had the nicest pavilion of the few I've seen.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
It's a beautiful day here in MA... It is good to see the blue sky again after yesterday's Canadian smoke-grey haze.
A bit on the warmer side (it is currently 80°) but the low humidity makes it feel not so bad.
Unfortunately, it is also laundry day Chez Soul, so I did not venture out past the deck where I spent my time reading. I did not want to be out of dryer-buzzer range! The next few days look to be equally nice, so if the smoke stays away, I'll be able to get out walking then.
To anyone going to PNC tonight, it should be a lovely evening in NJ too, so ENJOY!

Hello! We were at Holmdel with Moog & Nicholas, and a few other BNers. I don't really remember much about the venue but I do remember we had a great time .
My first buffett concert was at holmdel. The Garden state arts center i refuse to use corporate names. Has its own entrance on the garden state parkway. They took lawn out for more seats but left about 2 3rds. It is a small outdoor venue surrounded by woods with some houses. State police patrol it.
If i could I would have went. Never went to a doobies show.

I was just minding my own business and the the next thing I know I''m the same age as old people….
