Just Tuesday, no theme?
We could go for "Tuesday on the island, not much goin' on"
or maybe "Abandoned on Tuesday"...
Happy a good day everyone.

Good morning Linda, Debbie, Mr. SPH, and BN!
Very little going on for me today. I'll clean/organize a few things in the bedroom. Things are still a bit sore from the fall.
90's again, and for the next several days. We'll have a break in the heat come Friday.

Good morning. It's kind of overcast. I was thinking of going to the state park and taking a walk on the fishing pier to see how rough the surf is from Hurricane Erin

Taking a walk by the water sounds like so much better than the sock and other drawers that I just cleaned out.

Well, that's a depressing ditty. We are all too old to remember a specific day of the week when getting dumped.SeattleParrotHead wrote: August 19, 2025 9:45 am Just Tuesday, no theme?

We were supposed to have 6-9 foot waves, they were about 3 feet. There was a surfer sitting on his surfboard waiting for a wave. I was on the pier for about 20-25 minutes, he was still waiting when I left.

Re: TUESDAY @ the MSC
Seems to me that Tuesday on the Island, not much goin' on fit most of us today!
My biggest effort was going through music books in my son's old room to drop off at a neighbor's.
While out for a walk, I saw their son also walking and "caught up" a bit. He just finished up his Masters in Music Performace at the New England Conservatory and is back at home. I asked him if he still taught private lessons, and if so, would he like the books of trumpet (his instrument) music my son left behind. He said that would be great, and mean a lot to him, because apparently, it was hearing our son's playing back in the day that had inspired him to take up the trumpet! That really made me smile!
They are gathered together now and will be dropped off during a post-dinner stroll!

Re: TUESDAY @ the MSC
I so love this..The Reefers’ fans are used to seeing a two-hour-plus show, and clearly we should be the opening act in this scenario because we are missing the main ingredient of Jimmy Buffett. We leave his microphone empty in the middle of the stage. I want people to know we’re not trying to replace the guy. We’re just trying to continue to spread the joy that he spread so well for so long.
Thanks, Mr. SPH.
