Page 2! I finished 3 paintings of the same scene tonight. In college I framed paitngs with thin 2" boards because it was cheap. One 6' piece is now 10$. Two of the paintings are fundraiser donations. The winners can frame them if they like.

Well, there is one of my imaginings shattered.

The JB&CRB facebook account posted a video of Henry Kapono performing at Dukes.

Now, in my mind, Dukes was a bit of a low dive type place. I have never been there, so it was only my mind that conjured up the vision of a cross between say Captain Tony's and The Green Parrot.

To find it was all open and clean and part of a resort complex kinda killed it off for me.

I've seen pictures before of Dukes, so I knew what it was. We'll probably never go, cause not a fan of the length of the flight. (sitting that long just hurts my back).

The fact that you were not on good terms with your Dad at the time of his death can make things even more difficult to process...
