Our dinner yesterday was really good -- they had a great DJ for National Cheeseburger Day (Jimmy Buffett tribute). There were 3 rounds of JB trivia. But only a first place prize ($50 gift card to the restaurant). We didn't win but it was a lot of fun.

I propped myself up a little for sleeping last night and I didn't do too bad with my cough. This morning, however....ugh. I need to start my cold medicine now. No yoga for me this morning.

Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers announced he's retiring at the end of the season. He's going right into the Hall Of Fame when he's eligible in 5 years. He pitched for the Dodgers his entire career, 18 years, and his lifetime record is 222-96. He didn't pitch very well in the post-season but in the regular season he might be the best pitcher of his generation.
