Frosty Fall FRIDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. The ground was white with frost this morning, but it will be a beautiful day. I'm fishing after an eye appointment for new glasses. Enjoy your day, PHolks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Mulligan Day FRIDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning Campers!
This is a day I NEED & can get behind
Hope everyone has a great day!
Everyone deserves a second chance. This October 17, celebrate National Mulligan Day and enjoy the comfort in knowing that if at first you don’t succeed, you’ll get another crack at it. Though often associated with getting a “freebie” after a less than desirable golf shot, National Mulligan Day applies to any undertaking in which you would care for a “do-over.” Mulligans are for those with the determination to fight through the adversity of the mishaps of life. Let’s be honest — we all need a mulligan from time to time.

Good afternoon all!
Ken, I merged your post with Bills, as he was 1 minute before your post.
I'm at my sister's house. Dogs are hanging outside where it's nice and cool on the North side. E will be here later today when he has a break in work.
Hope everyone has a good Friday!!

Re: Frosty Fall FRIDAY@ the MSC
Beautiful day at Carolina Cabana.
I went to chair yoga this morning. A little more difficult with only 1arm but that’s ok.
Kevin finished washing the rest of our Carolina room vinyl windows (32 of them). They are removable and there’s special spray that helps them stay in good shape.
He also swept the floor and carpet. It looks great!
After lunch we spent 2 hrs at the beach. Ahhhhh.
Soon time for dinner.
Tomorrow is our community yard sale. We aren’t participating but I’ll hang out with a friend and take the 5 things we have. If they don’t sell they’ll be dropped off at goodwill later in the week.

Hi there! The eye doctor had a deal, buy glsses snd get a second pair half off with a free pair of prescription sunglasses. I got the deal with scratch resistant lens with blue light filter as well as glare resistance. All the extras added up. 704$

Last time I went to my eye doctor, there was the same special, but for prescription glasses, not sunglasses. My last pair was over $900 with all the add-ons I have.bodypainter wrote: October 17, 2025 6:04 pm Hi there! The 29th I have cataract surgery #1, and the 2nd a week later. I'll have to repurpose these expensive glasses into readers with transitions and go with that.

900$!? That sounds like a lot. I used to get a new pair every year when Anne worked. Her insurance covered them. I'm wearing one of those old pair now.SMLCHNG wrote: October 17, 2025 7:34 pmLast time I went to my eye doctor, there was the same special, but for prescription glasses, not sunglasses. I won't complain about the rice of mine anymore... they've been between around $500 depending upon the frame. I need ultra-high index to get the lenses as thin as possible (I have atrocious vision) with anti-reflective coating, progressive and transitions, so no need for separate readers or sunglasses.
