Like My Dog Saturday @ the MSC

Post by SMLCHNG »

 Good morning all! :)

Well, not MY dog, but my sister's - they're currently munching on their dog food for the morning feeding. Noisy buggers.

I'll head to the grocery store in a bit to pick up a few things for meals here. Think we'll do burgers on the grill later today or tomorrow.

Cloudy now, but looks for the making of a beautiful sunrise.

Have a good Saturday!! :)

I'm not doing anything much today, we'll watch the Buckeyes game at 3:30...my dog is currently laying at my feet. Bryan is at the grocery for a few items. Tomorrow will be laundry day for me while he's going to be meeting with our contractor trying to cut out things for the new house to try to get the cost more in line with the budget. Although at this point with everything we have to deal with from the mess my dad left, we won't likely get started until spring.
Happy Saturday 😊

Good afternoon.

It's 74 degrees and sunny. Why am I still inside? That was a rhetorical question.

Good afternoon!

Since I’m not supposed to drive yet Kevin went food shopping with me …. Ugh …. We spent ALOT more than when I’m alone. He’s like a little kid in a candy store.

There was a weird thing with my controlled substance prescription for my thumb surgery. I didn’t look at the prescription bottle until I got home last Wednesday. The bottle said quantity 15, but there were 25. my name, address, and phone number weren’t on the bottle. The doctorā€˜s name on the bottle was someone I’ve never heard of. When I googled her name, it shows up as her being a physician with a different group of drs. in the area. At the top of the label someone used a black sharpie and crossed off some information. Kevin googled the drug name and picture to make sure it matched what was to be in the bottle. At least that was correct. Yesterday we took the bottle (with the remaining pills ) to Walgreens and spoke with 2 pharmacists. They have no idea where the bottle came from. But they did say that my prescription was written for 25 pills and confirmed I got the drug I was supposed to get.

They ā€œbacked outā€ the first script and waited for the information to get removed from the state wide controlled substance data base. Then they filled my script and I got a nice new bottle with all my information, including my physicians name. All they could say is ā€œwe have no idea how or why this happenedā€. 😳

Well, that's scary!!! :o

Good luck with both house things, Tammy. :-?

Well, WE went outside - and it's SO windy out there. I ran to the store and got a few things. Then I watered all of my sister's plants/flowers/tomatoes. They installed 'astroturf' last year and it's great, and beautiful. But some of the dog poo gets stuck, so I had to take the hose to those areas and wash it away.

Fun times.   But hey, we get paid for it.

Linda that is just crazy about your prescription!
Especially with it being a controlled substance!! Someone is probably going to get into a LOT of trouble over this!

Years ago when our daughter was living in NYC she also had thumb surgery. My husband went down to help her out and could not get her "controled substance" prescription filled in ANY local pharmacy (it was not the best of neighborhoods) He wound up calling a pharmacy in Garden City near his Dad's place on LI, and they did stock it. So the two of them packed up and headed east for the weekend!

Hi there! I read about projects, prescription problems and poop.

I got nothing to add to that. :D
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

The Hurricanes are still playing in California but tonight's game started at 9:00 eastern time instead of 10:00. I set the DVR so I can fast forward through the commercials, maybe I'll watch the first 2 periods then be surprised by what happens in the third period when I wake up tomorrow.

Good evening.

Got our food shopping done and ā€œweā€ went way over my normal total. šŸ˜€. But Kevin grabbed bone steaks and shrimp so it’s all his fault.

Apparently the community yard sale was a bust for most folks. (We didn’t participate since we purged before we moved last year). No one stepped up to put signs at our 5 entrances and even thought it was advertised on several FB groups it didn’t help traffic a sales.

We hope to get to church tomorrow…missed last week since I was just 4 days from surgery.
