Good morning Linda and Bill!
Slept till 7:00, had some breakfast, showered and dressed. Heading over to E's parents house and his Mom and I will be going to the grocery store for things I'll be cooking the rest of the week. Tonight E and I are going out to dinner with some of his high school friends.
Low 50's and rainy. But no snow in our forecast.
Have a good Monday!!!

The temperature might not make it to 70 degrees today but it's still shorts weather, supposed to be in the high 60s. Then back to the 70s tomorrow and Wednesday.

Our weather this week duplicates what Bill mentioned. Despite the sun shining brightly today, no fishing for me. I'd say it's been 50 years since I've had a fishing line in the water. Maybe a couple times since then that escapes me right now but definitively not since the 80's![[smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]](./images/smilies/noeyedear-shrugging.gif "noeyedear-shrugging")
Still trying to pot my cold & flu behind me but much better than last week. I'm past the wanting of sleeping 16 hours a day, so I've got that going for me, which is VERY nice.

Good late-afternoon, BNers!
Not much happening here... it was a beautiful day, but a bit chillier than I thought. Halfway through my walk, I was wishing I had brought earmuffs as my ears got SO cold it took 15 minutes of being back inside for them to stop hurting! We are heading out to dinner tonight to use a gift card my wonderful neighbor gave me for my birthday, before I forget I have it!
Linda- I saw your reply about your healthcare issues. I have not lived in the south for nearly 40 years, so I had forgotten how some things are just well, slow! But I am glad that is the only problem, not that it was a coverage thing.
Penny - sounds like you will be quite busy this week, cooking up a storm! It is nice to hear that your efforts are very much appreciated!

Hi there! It got around 45 to 50 with no wind while fishing. I held a slimy fish for a photo, then washed the slime off in the river in 38-degree water. BOY, is that cold.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Evening all. Spent a fun but busy time with E's Mom going grocery shopping shopping, for over 2 hours. We had a lot to get, and she started looking for the next item before I finished looking for what I was searching for. We had a good time, tho.
Went out to dinner with 2 former classmates of E's, and we had a great time.
Tomorrow we'll go over to the house and I'll make several of the Thanksgiving dishes that can be me ahead of time. Then I'll be making dinner for the family.
Off to enjoy adult beverages in the room and watch some NCIS reruns.
G'night all.
