As God as my witness…at the MSC

“I thought turkeys could fly.” Man, I love WKRP!

Happy Thanksgiving, Kids! Just as my kid is home from college for the weekend, I am stopping in here to wish everyone a wonderful and thankful start to the holiday season!

Parade watching, football cheering, over eating, and decorating are in the agenda today. Life is been busy but good. Been thinking of Linda recently as Peanuts seem to be the theme at several stores this year. Always makes me smile.

Anyway, have a wonderful day, all! 💕🦃💕
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Good morning, Mel. It's just us for turkey time. The BIL cancelled because of the weather.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I am making a full speed just for me and the keet. Old habits die hard, and I love complaining about leftovers days later. I will probably freeze what I can so I have easy dinners on days I would order in. I have a few invites to other places today. Would much rather stay home—the winter sloth mode is setting in earlier each year.

Enjoy your day. Hoping the weather isn’t too bad there. Just cold and cloudy here with just a slight dusting of snow.

Great title today, Mel!!!

Good morning Bill and Debbie! :D

We're off to Mom E's house in about 1/2 hour, all I have to make today is some crumb toppings for 2 dishes, and make the dressing. That and bake the other 4 dishes I made for today. I'm pooped, but happy.

After dinner at 2:00, we'll be having our Christmas.

Wishing all of you the best Thanksgiving you can have. Hope to stop by later.

OK... today's title REALLY made me smile!! :D I too loved that show!

Mr. SPH - thanks for posting the video, it never gets old!
And as to the question yesterday about the gout. It seems to have been a one-time thing. I was quite stressed at the time and most likely very dehydrated as well. My doc said if I get a recurrence, then she would order a test to check my uric acid level and think about meds if it needed to be lowered. Glad yours is helped... because as we know it hurts like HELL!!

Penny - Oh, I'd also be LIVID at that car dealer... it could have been a VERY dangerous situation on your long drive! But I am very glad it was an easy fix - having family in the biz down there was a godsend!

That's it for me today except to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you all... when I count my blessing BN folks are always included!

I'm just SLIGHTLY livid at the situation, and VERY grateful that E's nephew works at the Ford Dealership.

SO, I cooked 4 hot casseroles (including dressing), homemade cranberry sauce which was very good :D, and made the gravy (which my MIL asked me to do again, as she said she's never mastered gravy). :D My Mom taught me how. :) E's nephew/wife/3 kids were supposed to be there, but then went to her family's home, so we cooked for 10 (including 3 kids) and had 5. SOOO lots of leftovers, but they won't go to waste with the young family.

I'm making biscuits/gravy w/scrambled eggs in the morning, and then lasagna with salad and garlic bread for dinner. In between we'll be opening Christmas gifts with all of us, and the little kids.

Time to head to bed soon.. Hugs all.

Look it's not Gravy Day (21st of December) but this is How To Make Gravy (an Oz classic).
