Off to donate blood this morning and then I'll begin to dismantle the TG decor. We will do a deep clean of the house and then Kevin will start to carry in the Christmas decoration boxes and on Monday we will put the tree together and start to decorate for Christmas. My life rule is NO CHRISTMAS DECOR UNTIL DEC 1. I think Thanksgiving gets too short of a celebration since it seems we go straight from Halloween to Christmas.
I don't think I agree with your life rule. Just got my Christmas tree yesterday...$90 for a beautiful one. Neighbors have already put up their Christmas lights. We've hauled out the ornament tubs from the basement for our tree. Probably going to start decorating tomorrow.
Have a great Saturday everyone!
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!
I agree with Linda's rule about Christmas decorations. But then I don't decorate at all anymore because I'm never home for Christmas so why bother. When I did decorate I usually waited until about a week or 10 days before Christmas and everything was down by the 26th, 27th at the latest.
We put our trees up on Thanksgiving since we both had the day off and we're not doing the Turkey dinner till tomorrow. Today I have a pot of chili simmering and we are getting excited for THE Game. After the game, I'll make the dressing and probably clean and prep the bird for tomorrow. No orange cranberry relish this year as my fresh cranberries got mushy and gross in the freezer but I have a can of the classic jelly on hand. Oh and I almost forgot, I will make a Pecan Pie Dump Cake too. Daughter is making a charcuterie board, rolls and homemade noodles. I'll do green beans and the mashed potatoes at her house tomorrow.
Go Bucks!

Hi there! The food sounds deelish, Tammy.
Most of my outside goes up based on weather. I put up the stuff Wednesday before it snowed.
My outside is minimal, 2 wreaths on either side of the garage door and I have a concrete flower basket that I add silk pine and a bow to. This is not done yet as I ordered new ribbon so all the bows will match and it hasn't arrived yet.
I do have all my shopping done so all I need to do is wrap and start my baking.
Our oldest she-'keet's b'day is December 5th, so Christmas decorations never started until after that. Now that both the girls are growed up and living in another state, MrsSPH and I always ask each other if we even need to decorate, but always end up doing something. This year, both of the 'keets have so much going on that they're not even coming home for the holidays and so we might not even put up a tree.
Our neighborhood is usually pretty well lit up, so I feel like I gotta do a little outside, but I try to keep it simple; I ain't going up on no ladders no more.......
The problem is that the younger me didn’t think there’d be an older me and now the older me has a bunch of stuff to fix because the younger me was an idiot.

Hi guys and gals!!! We're about an hour away from Dodge City, KS.
For whatever reason we didn't hear our alarm and got up at 7:40 instead of 7:00. So we rushed to shower and finish packing. Got to Mrs. E's house about 10:00, instead of 9:00. Had some donuts with his brother and SIL, too. After E and his Mom chatted privately for a bit, we didn't leave the house until 11:30, 90 minutes later than we wanted to. But the visiting time was worth it.
Good evening, my friends. It was a little chilly here today, but I still got my walk around the neighborhood. I went with Kevin to total wine so he could grab a few bottles of something or other.
I called and left a message to cancel my PT for Monday morning. I’m having a lot of pain in my hand, with something called the ulner nerve. It goes from the end of your pinky along the side of your arm towards your elbow. I’m really struggling with the strengthening exercises I’m supposed to do.
Anyway, the sun was shining today and that always helps me feel good.

For ulna side pain, I use a thing called wrist widget.
