I Shot Six Holes In My TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning gang! After shoveling for 45 minutes, I thought about old people moving south.
We won't do that. We like it here, BUT there are limits.
It is a beautiful snowfall though.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

It's coming down pretty steady here also. Not going to start shoveling until it stops.
Who's got the rum?

No snow here but it's been raining all morning. I guess I'll stay in and do laundry.

Good morning all!
No snow here today, but supposed to be 3-6" tomorrow. And of course I have a Dr. appointment in the morning.
E's still not good today, it just made his neck scream in pain just to sit at the dining room table having a bowl of cereal. I got out the heating pad, and he laid back down.
That's about it... I 'only' have 2 loads of laundry to do today.

Good afternoon BN...about 2 inches of snow for us! Unfortunately it rained right after and turned to slush. Was beautiful while it lasted.
Probably going to put on an episode of 'The Chair Company'. I did hear that it'll snow sometime around midnight, so I'm hoping it'll stick.

Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!

Re: I Shot Six Holes In My TUESDAY@ the MSC
Here it is, the third day of summer, and we woke up to 39°F this morning. It should get up to 80°F. 100°F is tomorrow's forecast with high winds and an extreme fire danger. Bloody weather has been all over the shop lately.
Anyhoo, off to the archery range for the "Retired Gentlemen's Session" this morning. First day on the range since surgery. My hand is still not great with more surgery likely next year, but we'll see how it goes.
Given the forecast, I will do some fire preparation and look at the go bags etc.
I know I have said it before but snow? Nope, I'll never understand living where it snows... Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So some have snow and some like us have rain.
Our tree is decorated and 2/3 of the decorations are on display. When I’m done Kevin will mop and sweep all the floors. Sweeping is his version of “heavy equipment”
.
I’m icing my hand while drinking a glass of Cab/sav. Kevin has some bourbon. We’re sitting in the Carolina room with the small heater running to get it to about 68 degrees. Christmas channel playing in Sirius. This is the life.

And some - like Jerry and myself - have BOTH!Saltx3 wrote: December 2, 2025 5:09 pm So some have snow and some like us have rain.

Now that is my kind of "ice treatment"!
Penny - OUCH! Could E's neck pain be due to how he may keep his head in a "driving" position for as long as he did coming home? I hope he feels
better quickly...
Rabbitz- I missed your first "F" and thought, wait, what? 39° already ~102°... how is it possible to go UP from there to 80°?! ( And no, I have NOT been "icing" my hand Linda-style, I just read too fast sometimes! )
Big John - We're not going anywhere South either, but we do now have a plow guy - our concession to "getting up there"

Re: I Shot Six Holes In My TUESDAY@ the MSC
Well, we went to the Doctors office this morning, and E was definitely jaundice. Doc said we needed to go to the ER, which we did around Noon. And, he's being admitted. Gall stones, and a blockage of a duct from the gallbladder. Not sure what will happen next, possible removal of gallbladder but have to see if they can figure out what the reason for the blockage. I just came home to get him some clothes and stuff. No food for me today, he only had a bowl of cereal this morning. TTFN. I'll update as I can.

Fall weather here.... I raked leaves and trimmed some bushes and pulled a bunch of annuals and now I'm headed for my morning shower (it's 4:15 pm
).
Be safe in the snow, those of you in that situation.
Phingers crossed for E.....

Back home. He's finally been moved to a room.
He got a call from the cafeteria not too long after he got into the room.
Is supposed to have and endoscopy tomorrow to see if they can find the blockage at the duct, and perhaps remove it (it's a gallstone).
Thanks for the good wishes.. I'm exhausted, but no more than E is. I only had a cinnamon toast crunch bar today.
Supposed to have anywhere between 4-8" of snow tomorrow. And I have a doctor appointment at 1:00, so hopefully the roads will have been plowed.
Love and g'night all.![hearts [smilie=hearts.gif]](./images/smilies/hearts.gif)
