Nat’l Short Person/Nat’l Cookie Exchange Day Monday @ the MSC
Good Morning Campers
Choose the celebratory observance that fits you
For me neither fits, however Lynn customarily distributes cookies to the local police department, post office & other personal services that she deals with. This year that has already been done.
Daughter is right at 5’ tall but she embraces it so all good there.
Short but busy work week commences for me.
Have a good day gang

Good morning!
For me, I think Cookie Exchange Day would fit. Around Christmas, I bake sugar cookies and banana bread and then give most of them to my neighbors. We were thinking of having a neighborhood brunch this year at my place.
I've been taking tylenol and motrin for my cold-turned-FLU...now I cannot be around anyone else. Fever was at 102.5 at the local urgent care (just wanted to see what I had) and now it's at 98.7 an hour ago. Anyways, my mom is going for a checkup at the hospital where she spent Christmas in last year. About a week ago, it was one year since her 'event', for lack of a better term.
Have a great Monday, everyone

Good morning. They made some changes at the airport since the last time I was here in September. There used to be 7 gates in terminal A, there are 12 now. Some new concessions too. My flight is in terminal B and I haven't made my way over there yet so I don't know if they made any changes there.
Getting through security was a breeze but my flight is already 20 minutes late. Good thing I have 3 1/2 hours between flights when I get to Nashville. I'll have time for lunch and a cold beverage.

Morning Kids!
I guess I will opt for cookie day since I am hosting neighbors in cookies and hot cocoa this evening. Our high school choir has strolled through the subdivision and caroled the past two years. Tonight is our night, and my house is the mid way warm up/sweet treat spot. Always a fun way to ring in the holidays, I think.
Hoping the flu bugs and other health issues clear quickly and stay away from all. Have a safe flight, Larry.
Still thinking of Penny and sending another round of love her way.

I knew there was something I forgot, the thread title. While I've known some very nice short people, one in particular from my younger days, I'll take cookies. Chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin, but when I was a little kid my grandmother used to make delicious sugar cookies.
Santa just walked by, he has a basket of candy canes. I didn't take one.

I don't have a short person to trade for a cookie, and the cookies I have I don't wanna swap.

Thanks Mel and Mr. SPH.
I called the Mortuary to get that started, then the hospital to let them know who will be picking up E.
Cameron is keeping an eye on me.. We're running to the store together, and then to the bank. And he's making sure I eat.
Larry, have a good/safe/fun trip!
Oh, and I'll take most any cookie, as long as it doesn't have nuts in it. And I AM short.
Have a good Monday!

There are a lot more dogs in the Nashville airport than I saw in MYR this morning. But I'm surprised, I've been here almost 2 hours and I've only seen 4 people carrying guitar cases and only 1 cowboy hat.

Nacho Hippo has a location in the airport. I noticed this morning they were open for breakfast, I don't remember it being open that early before. There's also a new place in the airport, Pizza Hyena. They were open but I didn't feel like having pizza at 9:00am.

Good afternoon friends!
It’s a beautiful day here. I just took my neighborhood walk.
Our community is doing our 2nd luminary light event on Christmas Eve. Yesterday I helped to fill 200 white bags with some sand and a tea light candle. I’ve got about 50 of them in my car waiting for folks on our street to come claim 4 per house. It looked awesome last year so we’re hoping for more participation this year since all the homes are now occupied.
Our Christmas cookies were all baked yesterday. Now we just need to pack a bunch up and give them away.

Hi there! I had a check up with my pcp. BP was 132 0ver 70, which is low for me. My vision disease was partially triggered with high bp, like 150 over 100.
On the ride to Erie, Anne saw a propane truck ahead of us with one travelling the other way. The propane company is on the way. Later, on a back road, we saw 2more trucks in each lane.
I quipped, "Passing gas!"
I used to be average height but have shrunk by 1.5 inches. The young guys at the Y tower over me. I feel like Gimli the dwarf in The Lord of the Rings.

Evening all... just popping in before our neighbors arrive for desserts and Christmas cheer...
As to the title today...
I don't do cookie exchanges because most people make them with chocolate...
BUT I most certainly AM short. My license says 5'2", but only because they don't do half inches, so I rounded UP!
Penny - I can't imagine your pain right now... but God bless Cameron for taking such good care of you!
Larry - Enjoy your annual Christmas in Vegas!
Jerry - I hope you rally before the holiday!
