Good Morning to all of my other BN friends who may stop by.
Off to the Hand Surgeon today for final follow-up on thumb. I spoke with the tech at the infusion center & said what I'm describing is not a normal side effect, and especially 1 week later. She call he PCP & told him. Then called me to say his office would call to schedule an appt and that I am to take at least 1,000 mg Tylenol/day. I've been taking that every day for the past 4 days .
Glad you are taking care of you, Penny and Linda! I haven’t done much so far today other than shower and get garbage out. Debating going out to run some errands, but I started reading a book written by a friend of mine and can’t seem to put it down. Still cold and windy here, so an afternoon on the couch, under a blanket, and reading may not be a terrible idea.
Enjoy your warmer weather, Penny. I hope you get answers and a manageable treatment plan, Linda. Hoping work is easy if you have to go in today, Ken.
I think I will tackle more leftovers and read a few more chapters.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

I hope the docs can figure out your issue, Linda. I find Tylenol doesn't do much for me. Can you switch to Ibuprofen?
Can’t take NSAIDS.
Got an ENG scheduled for Jan 8 to see what’s going on with ulner nerve. Ortho Doc threw “rheumatoid arthritis” out to us. Have PCP appt on Friday.
Good morning...glad everyones doin well. Had eye exam today and the lady said I have very good vision. My eyes are blurry right now since they dilated them, so not sure if anything I'm typing is what I want it to be
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!
We're having a couple of cooler days - mid 80s I guess but come the weekend we're in for a brutal stretch with some days next week into the 110 to 115°F range.
With no significant rain in the past couple of months and none on the 28-day rain forecast I suspect just keeping the veggie patch alive will be a challenge. Our peach trees are just about ripe - the fruit is amazingly sweet already. However this hot spell will mean that they will all ripen together, so picking, processing, freezing and preserve making is likely to be in our future...
This morning I have a couple of chores to do then down to the archery range for a couple of hours - despite the pain in my hand from the botched surgery I need to persist. I doubt I will complete an entire match today but getting out and flinging arrows will be good enough (as long as I temper my competitive streak!).
Happy New Year to all.

Good afternoon. Yesterday's high temperature was 70 degrees. When I woke up his morning it was 32.
I went to one of our local craft brewers for lunch today. They launched their app a couple of months ago and it has virtual punch cards on it, one of them is for beer (they're also a coffee house) and after 10 beers you get the 11th one free. The last time I was there I forgot to get my card punched. When I closed out my check today I gave the bartender my phone so he could add today's beers to my punch card. I told him I forgot to do it the last time I was there. He added 2 extra beers to my punch card. He got a nice tip.
On the way home there was a car in front of me whose owner must be even older than I am. The license plate said FOSSIL.

Sounds like a plan Penny. Glad you self evaluated into that decision.
Yep, I just spent a several hours cleaning up his "main" email, unsubscribing from emails and looking for anything that needs to be paid.

Ugh, I forgot you mentioned that before. Hope the docs help find an answer.

I had a few windows open... and reading sounds like a good plan to me!
Thanks as always, Mr. SPH.

He got a nice tip.
Our favorite brewery just posted a nice tribute to E on Facebook. And that IS where I'll have his Celebration Of Life party. It probably won't be until late April, just based on the fact that CO has the worst snow storms in Feb/Mar/early Apr. There will be a Military service (since E was in the Marines) at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. This is the same place as my parents (Dad was Navy) and Cameron's other grandparents, since his other grandfather was in the Army. So I feel comforted that E will be surrounded by family, even extended ones.

E will join my uncle Jack at Ft. Logan; he was in the USAF in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant.
That's a nice tribute by Lone Tree....
It feels weird being the same age as old people….
