It's another "overlooked" album... but because Coast of Carolina is one of my all-time favorite songs... (we got married 3 weeks after Jimmy & Jane so the lyrics of what it takes to stay together really speak to me) that alone makes it a winner in my book. I also have always enjoyed Toby Keith's voice!SMLCHNG wrote: January 3, 2026 1:29 pmYep, and "Coast of Carolina" and "Sea of Heartbreak".SeattleParrotHead wrote: January 3, 2026 12:55 pmMe too, me too! Page Two!!!!
I also like the album, but I really don’t have any JB album that I won’t listen to. There are clunker songs on most of them, but other songs that feed my soul and make me remember why the music is a part of me.

Re: Conky Tonkin' Saturday @ the MSC
Hi there! I worked on a caricature tonight. One of 4 senior girls on the basketball team. A teacher I worked with showed her cartoon I did of her as a senior to her daughter and the girl wanted one too.
i told the teacher I need good CLEAR photos sent to my email. I didn't get them, at least on the first girl I drew. I managed an okay job.
Before a digital world, I drew kids in different sports from their school photos when they sent them in. I sometimes had to work from the team photo. The faces were a quarter inch in height.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

That's cool, Bill. I always thought that caricatures are a lot of fun.

Except for one shelf on the right, I'll be donating all of these books to the Library!

Thanks Penny on both fronts.SMLCHNG wrote: January 3, 2026 1:53 pmGood luck on the glasses, and I hope Lynn feels better!Dr.Corona wrote: January 3, 2026 11:01 am GLynn & I planned on going & looking at Entertainment center style Electric Fireplaces today but she's not feeling well so not sure if that's still in the cards still or not. Also just received a call from Pearle Vison & my new glasses are in so THAT will be a stop for me. Hope this script works for me. My vision has been CRAP for too long. Such a procrastinator I am.![]()
The good news is Lynn was feeling better & we did get out & about & check out some fireplaces
The bad news is upon initial review I see better with the old ones than I do the new ones. They recommend giving me a week to adjust. I’ll do so but I’m skeptical. This script is based upon an exam from last July so maybe that’s PART of the problem
