Nautical Wheelers Wednesday @ the MSC

Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning!

Hoping E's car will be done today. Sarah or a family friend can drive me to the dealership to pick it up. I'd just feel better having it parked back here while we're gone.

Hope you have a good Wednesday!! :)

Good Morning Penny and the rest of the MSC patrons who get a chance to stop by.

This title reminds me of when Bill (Bodypainter) made huge cut-outs of the word "Nautical Wheelers" for a Bristow, VA JB show. He posted pics here on BN and we had a thread "petition" asking for the song to be played. Apparently, someone on Jimmy's behalf was monitoring this board at the time and Jimmy made an announcement at the show something along the lines "we saw your petition for this song to here we go".....we were THRILLED :).

From 3-5 today a girlfriend & I are going to the Myrtle Beach Police "Beach Roamers Volunteer Training. A volunteer program where community members walk the beach and pick up trash to keep our shores beautiful!" There's no schedule & they provide a vest, grabber, and bags.

The fog is clearing off the pond this morning but our high temp will only be low 50's.

I remember that, Linda. It was FunkHouse9 (Jeff Melia) who started the request to hear "Nautical Wheelers" and one of the concerts.. I was listening to the concert and was thrilled when it was played! :D

Nothing, new here, maybe a little warmer than usual (50 something), cloudy, but no rain in today's forecast. Edit: Nevermind, it's raining. :-?
I'm gonna take a trip to Home Away From Home Depot for a couple of things for a plumbing project but that's about it; I'm more than contented to be livin' in three-quarter time...

I just logged a walk a little under 2 miles.....I'm walking rather slower than normal...and sometimes having a slight problem getting a breath. Dr. Google says that is side affect of low white and red blood cells :(

Good afternoon. The temperature is in the mid 50s but it's a nasty day, very damp and it feels like rain.

YAY, the car is ready. :) Sarah is off work today, and it's her birthday, so she'll drive me to the dealership, and we'll stop somewhere for lunch to celebrate.

And I just got a call, E's life Insurance $ is on it's way via direct deposit.. :) :(

Hi there! When Jimmy played NW, I choked up and teared a little.

Sorry about the blood cells, Linda.

Good news for you, Penny.

I worked in the town park during a light drizzle that got heavier, so I quit.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi Kids!!

It is snowy and cold here in Michigan. They said a dusting to an inch, but I think about 2 inches has fallen with more to come. We had mid 40’s yesterday with rain, so not sure how the back roads will be for ice. My drive home was slow but okay.

Not gonna lie, I would be okay with a snow day tomorrow—the weather guessers say increased winds and a wind chill of -14. Our windchill magic number is -20, but the snow, cold, and wind might make back roads bad enough that we get lucky.

Brrrrr!!!!! :o

Got the car back. They were so kind there. "If I need ANYTHING" was what they repeated over and over. :) If not for this extended warranty, it would have cost me about $1500, instead of $100

Then I got home and I saw the lead maintenance guy and told him I found the key to E's large tool chest, so he could have it. 3 of the guys came in took the chest, his golf clubs, and a 5 shelf case out the door. A few less things, and he said he'd come by with the guys any time I need something tossed. :)
