Weather guessers say we have snow and frigid temps coming for the next few days. They are saying windchills could be in negative double digits by Tuesday.
Usual Saturday chores on the agenda today plus braving the weather to clear snow from the driveway. Probably need to venture out for gas and food for next week.
Thinking of Penny as she and her family prepare for Ron’s Memorial service this morning. Sending lots of love to Oklahoma to them all today.
If you are interested, Ron’s service will be live streamed today at 10 am Central Time here: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC8YZ3okORUSZ7gob4nqFZ7Q
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
Hi there! We shoveled in the dark before heading into town so I could help put away light displays. Six of us worked for 2 hours. It felt good doing service. I have Peter's new CD in my car which is great driving music.
May this day give you closure and peace, Penny.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Well, that wasn't 'fun'... went through about 8 tissues... I don't sing, however. And there were some good chuckles. Love the pictures they showed. Back to E's Mom's house for a bit.
Forecast here is for over 100°F today and around that for the next 10 days or so
Mrs Rabz and I are getting ready for our next island-time sojourn. This time it is to Fiji, to one of the Fijian islands we haven't been to before (I don't actually know what it is called as Toni has been doing the bookings...). Oh, apparently it is this place https://www.likurifiji.com/
It has been almost two years since our last tropical getaway, so I am spending some time today checking our personal dive gear is still in one piece. As it is Polynesia I tried on some of my old tailored sulus and tropical shirts yesterday. They are all too big now. A neighbour has offered to have a crack at altering them, while I can and do use a sewing machine - neat and sewing aren't two things I can do at the same time

Yep, it was Jerry! We stopped watching the NFL over 5 years ago, based on the NFL itself, players, and officiating. But I'll still cheer for the Broncos (since 1976).

Unfortunately for Denver, it was announced after the game the QB Bo Nix has a fractured ankle & it finished for the season. Real bummer.
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
