Very cool !! 8) I went to several of those with my kids back in the day when they lived at home. They were a lot of fun!
I was hoping someone in our neighborhood was going so I could tag along (since my husband can't) but no one was, :-? and I did not want to go it alone. I'm sure it was a blast! :D
Hi Stranger!!
Hey, George!! :D
How ya doing down in "frigid" FL?
Hopefully, you still have a coat or two from your RI life!
Oh, and watch out for those falling iguanas, too! :o

Looks like we got about 4" of snow
-- the wind is blowing strongly and we have no hot water - along with most of the other 300 single family homeowners. The townhomes have electric so they are good to go.

But it sure does look pretty :).
A friend of mine in Northern SC got just over 7' of snow! She is originally from CT, so she decided to "relive her youth" (her words) by making some snow angels. If I tried that, I probably would not be able to get up!

BUMMER
on the lack of hot water! What caused that and why does having electric in the townhouses make a difference?
We have gas tankless water heaters. The “guts” are in the outside garage wall which is customary here. Although we covered the pipes with pipe insulation it was too cold with the wind chill. Plus ours in on the east side of the house with a 2 story next to us. It’s a wind tunnel that doesn’t get full sun until abt 2 pm. This is the first time folks have had problems.

We also have gas stoves. The townhomes are all electric.

Just to be a PITA because I had him cremated and they didn't want me to. They don't care that every month that passes, we still have to pay insurance and utilities out of the estate.
