Good morning Linda and Bill!
Love the song, too.
Another lunch out today. She was a connection with Kindred and patients, and she became pretty special friend.
Pretty sore from yesterdays clothes collection, so I'll take it easy today. Maybe just one run to the dumpster.
Have a good Wednesday!!

Good morning.
I got an email from Ticketmaster earlier this morning telling me that the money from the ticket to the hockey game that I sold would be deposited in my checking account within 7 business days. It was deposited in my account 6 days ago. It's nice to know they're on top of things.

Ugh, I hafta go in for a blood draw this morning and it's well documented how much I like those. To make it even better (worse), even though it's only a few miles to the clinic, there will be a million or so people between here and there for some kinda football parade.

You know that little voice in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't?
I should probably get one of those....

I'm having lunch at Bohemian Bull, Wednesday is half price burger day. The TV above the bar where I'm sitting has the Olympics on. NBC has the broadcast rights and it's on other channels besides the NBC mother ship. I don't know what channel this TV is on but they're broadcasting two different events at the same time on a split screen. I don't have Marty Feldman eyes so I can't focus on two things at once.

I finished food shopping and grabbed my free coffee from DD which is in the same parking lot as the grocery store. I'm not sure why it was free but I don't really care
.
It was rather warm outside but now there's humidity so the hair I had styled before I left the house is nothing like it is now

Good afternoon everyone!
Love this song; I wish Jimmy played it live.
I've been working on moving an old website's images and whatnot onto my blog. The only place you can see the website is through the Wayback Machine since it's been deleted.
Have a great evening everyone

There's a new bartender at Bohemian Bull, she comped my second beer. Free beer, my favorite kind.

Re: "Here We Are" WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
So, here we are in the middle of February and I had to do something that I haven't done since early December.
I had to go and check the rain gauge. Yes! It finally rained! Not much, 1.5mm (no idea what that is is the old fashioned measure) but we will take it gratefully.
There might even be more next week!
More tomato picking and processing today.

About six hundredths of an inch, not much in anyone's measure, literally just a drop in the bucket.....RabbitzDownUnder wrote: It finally rained! Not much, 1.5mm (no idea what that is is the old fashioned measure) but we will take it gratefully.

Re: "Here We Are" WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
We average a bit over an inch of rain (25mm) in February, so were about 1/25th of the way to our average! Our last measurable rain was early December and our last significant rain was way back in November. The last two years, while we have had periods of minor, annoying drizzle, have seen a major deficit of rain. I should have moisture down two or three feet in the orchard. It is currently dry below six inches.SeattleParrotHead wrote: February 11, 2026 5:14 pm

Thankfully we can used reclaimed water for the trees to keep them going and we sacrifice drinking water on the veggies.

Re: "Here We Are" WEDNESDAY @ the MSC
Evening all...
I never did find the keys yesterday...
I was also a day late on the pizza thing, as we went out for lunch yesterday and had pizza - just a day off!
Not much happening here... it is a bit warmer, even though we woke up to about 1" of fresh snow.
But by the time I finished breakfast and my NYT puzzles, Mother Nature's solar energy had cleared nearly all of my driveway!
Sometimes procrastination is a good thing!
I didn't get off totally scot-free, though... I still needed to clear the deck, since this time of year it does not get enough sun-time.

One thing I'm looking forward to.. both apartments I could move into have garages, and the driveways both face south.Caribbean Soul wrote: February 11, 2026 6:49 pm I didn't get off totally scot-free, though...
