I wish lunch could last forever. As long as it is on a sunny day when I don’t have to work and the weather, food, and company are all delightful.

Back to work today. All out of sorts since I never sleep well out f fear I will sleep through the alarm. Oh well, one day closer to the weekend.

Enjoy today, all! đź’•
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Good Morning Ladies (& Gents who saunter in later):

The sun is shining but the high temp is a little chilly to visit the beach today. Instead we will make a Lowes run for some paint & weed killer. Oh, the excitement :).

On an actual exciting note we are planning a trip to Darlington, NC (abt 2 hrs) on Sunday, March 22 for a Nascar Race. We've never been to one but the couple we are going with have so that's a big help.

Good morning from my sister's house! :) We'll be leaving in about 2 hours for the airport.

And they LOVE my car. :D

Otherwise today is a play with doggies, or watch them sleep. :P

Have a good Tuesday!!

Hello, everyone! :D Just more writing today. It's a bit cold this week, and a foot of snow is still stuck on the ground at my place.

One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums!
I couldn't find any JB live vids, he only played it live 8 times (summer of 2000) but here's a little something....

The place down the block, the one with no clock
Covert rendezvous with you at the usual time
I savor the scent of the fish on the grill
Life’s so spicy up on bar-b-q-hill
Lookin’ good, you look so fine
Waiter bring us one more bottle of wine

I wish lunch could last forever
Make the whole day one big afternoon
We’ll begin with dessert a little coconut tart
Mmmm tastes as sweet as a piece of your heart
Cafe au lait beneath the Paris moon

Don’t hide you eyes just wear your disguise
Brazil’s in the air I swear it feels like Mardi Gras time
I savor the scent love that Anik Goutal
As we walk in time to the cathedral bell

I wish lunch could last forever
Make the whole day a first time love affair
We’ll begin with a kiss, such a warm place to start
Let me into your life, let me into your heart
Mea culpa mea culpa carnival’s in the air

You know that little voice in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't?
I should probably get one of those....

This song helped me through a tough time. I played it every day for about 2 months.

Hi there! I had my first shower in 2 weeks. No more sponge baths. We ate at a local diner where I thought how appropriate today's song is for me.

I went out for lunch and wound up at Voodoo Brewing. They have some guest taps and one of them is a cherry vanilla hard cider. That sounded good so I tried it. It tastes like cough medicine.

"What was lunch on Tuesday?" I hear you ask...

"Well, Paella of course".

My youngest brother gave us a paellera (a paella pan) for Christmas, so I have been practising.

I agree with Penny! :) That looks wonderful, Rabbitz! [smilie=yum.gif]
And using a grill makes it even better, as that would be SoulMate's responsibility!
I used to do all the grilling in the winter (because I don't mind cold) BUT a few years ago he bought a new Weber, and I am too short to safely open and close the lid! Oh well... [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Happy Lunar New Year and Mardi Gras to everyone!
I don't recall them matching up before, although I'm sure they have, as both are moon-cycle-based!
