Hello Penny and BN! Stay warm...we're expecting some snow, too. Had to rack my brain for my password since I was logged out of BN today
Not much planned, other than grocery shopping. Have a great Friday, everyone!
That's the new thing -- PHJim changed the process bc of all of the Bots trying to get in.
Hello Penny & Jerry & everyone else who stops by later.
I slept 11.10 hours last night . We have nothing going to today or tomorrow which is unusual. Kevin ordered a game from Amazon -- it's a card game called RINGER. We're going to have one sent to our son in PA. It's somewhat like UNO but much mored "advanced".
Since we're now on a puzzle kick I returned the one we just finished and grabbed 2 more from the library yesterday when I was there for yoga.
We have sun & some wild winds going on so I need to bring in our American Flag.
I'm watching The Time Machine on TCM, it started at 10:00. It's been several years since I saw that movie.
The semifinals of the men's Olympic hockey are today. I'd ike to see Finland and the U.S. win, then Sunday we would have a rematch of the 1980 gold medal game, the last time the U.S. won the gold.
Hi there! I passed a milestone. I've lived in fleece sweat pants and Anne had to help get those on and off. I did it myself and got jeans on. Out patient therapy starts today.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

That is a major milestone, good job!
I've had my knees 'scoped three times and, although nothing like a TKR, I remember well how big a deal it was to dress myself, all by myself, like a big boy would do...... (and, if I recall correctly, jeans don't feel as good as comfy sweats on the incision.....)
You know that little voice in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't?
I should probably get one of those....

I had 3 scopes over 30 years ago, but there was no cartilage left to scope. The surgeon asked how I did it. I replied,"joging." He recommended I quit. The next tear came from jogging, which happened the first time I tried to jog. He admonished me for jogging. The next yerar I was back with another tear and the doc kinda growled at me. "I told you no jogging!"
I didn't get hurt that way and told him I slipped carring a bear.

And you lot say Australia is full of dangerous critters.
Sure, we've got snakes and spiders, killer jelly-fish, deadly octopus, crocs and the rest but we don't have actual bears! Nor do we have snow to shovel or frozen rivers and lakes! All these things are out to get you - without even touching on the government sponsored stuff!!!!
Yup, I'll keep our snakes, spiders and even the drop-bears (which aren't actually bears) thank you very much!

Ha! I've panicked several times by bears and cows, but big Hereford bulls have gotten closer to my demise.
Herefords aren't too cranky. Now, it's a bit different with a big ol' red angus bull. Evil bastards those ones!
Check out the side-eye this one is giving the cameraman!
