The suitcase idea is brilliant!! And those "wardrobe" boxes are great, too! Can you get them from a local mover? All of our re-los were by North American, who supplied them.SMLCHNG wrote: March 2, 2026 6:19 pmMy Dad, and both Grandfathers loved them, too! I confess it's been a while, but I loved them.Caribbean Soul wrote: March 2, 2026 6:01 pm Evening all! Love today's title, as sardines make me think of my Dad... he loved them!![]()
Penny - back to the old grind, eh? You've got to be nearly done by now, no?![]()

And nearly done? Nope. ALMOST finished with his desk, then there's mine, the office closet, still some things in the back room that we used as a storage room (was Cameron's bedroom), 2 bathrooms & kitchen cleaning products, pare down bathroom and kitchen towels. THEN I can start packing things up. I did have a great idea yesterday.. I have 2 large suitcases (one I replaced, one was E's) and then my own suitcases, a couple of smaller ones of E's, that I can use to pack several things in, including stuff I have in drawers.I'm gonna get one or two of the boxes that has a bar in it, so I can just hang up the clothes.

Most U-Haul stores have them, we used them the last time we moved.Caribbean Soul wrote: March 3, 2026 6:08 pm The suitcase idea is brilliant!! And those "wardrobe" boxes are great, too! Can you get them from a local mover? All of our re-los were by North American, who supplied them.
I decided today to request a moving coming to come in, and then whatever friends and family that can help, all the better. And then when all the furniture is moved to the new place, the movers can come back here and put the stuff for ARC or Habitat for Humanity to pick up. Just NO SNOW!!
