It sounds like a good day for you to just hunker down at home and let Sybil roll on through Denver, MsMod!
It's raining here, with the weather reporter saying "an increased chance of rain"....
I guess that means it's gonna rain even harder?
Grabbing a bite and a beer by the sea sounds like a good idea!
Came to see friends
Walk old streets again
Grab a bite and beer by the sea
It caught my attention
The old town has grown
That's why I came alone
But I've been treated well
I raised all kinds of hell
When a full tank was only a fin
Ain't it quite funny how things turn around
I heard I was in town
I was a madman in a pickup truck
So many years ago
Changes have come like the storms of the season
But time here still moves slow
Passed the old joints
My favorite haunts
Where we'd stay for twelve or ten
Ain't it quite funny word gets around
I heard I was in town
I was a madman in a pickup truck
So many years ago
Changes have come like the storms of the season
But time here still moves slow
Came to see friends
Walk old streets again
Maybe strike up a tune with the moon
Don't it seem funny
Word gets around
I heard I was in town
It feels weird being the same age as old people….

I'd rather have rain, instead of snow... but I like your good idea, so let's go!!!!
A Surf Pirate tale. Bob was in the first Margaritaville in KW and he saw Jimmy talking to 2 suits at a back table. They went upstairs. New customers came in and one told his friends that Jimmy could walk by and you wouldn't even know it was him.
Jimmy walked by and they didn't even know it was him.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Yikes. So late in the day. I had lunch with my yoga friends.
Then Kevin and I spent 2.5 hrs on the beach. It was hot but still lots of fog over the ocean.
Now home and Kevin is starting dinner.
We’ve got nothing scheduled for tomorrow but the extra closet shelf we ordered on Amazon could be installed. (Maybe). There’s a lot of wasted space above the closet maid system the builder installed. It’s useful for boxes with stuff we don’t need often.

Penny - I hope you were able to get that insurance stuff settled at the bank. It seems very odd to me. I've never been a beneficiary, but my Mom was on my Dad's policy, and the check was made out to her! After she passed, I had to set up an "Estate Account", and all her remaining money was transferred there. And only then were any checks made out to The Estate of" not before...
My wonderful HR contact at his work has been helping me SO much, that she sent a message to "The Hartford" to please issue the check in my name since I'm his beneficiary. Let's hope they do. It wasn't my bank's fault, it was the issuing party, IMHO.
Glad you got your chore days flipped!!
And in MY opinion, YOUR opinion is spot on!
Well... that chore-flipping turned out to be for no particular reason as we never got the Ice/sleet/disaster... just some light rain! YOU, however, got Mother Nature's fury!

Good morning all!
Soooo, it's snowing here. MUCH needed, but I'm having dinner with one of E's co-workers. Have to clean off the car, if I'm going..
No running stuff to the dumpster today.
It's 28 instead of the 70 it was yesterday.
Have a good Friday!!
Hope the sun came out and melted a lot of that crap so you didn't have much to clean up, and were able to make the dinner plans happen!
Reading about Peter Mayer made me realize I totally forgot to tune in to his Key West show this afternoon...
I have set a calendar alert for tomorrow's broadcast.

And when I visited the bank yesterday, I told them I knew it wasn't their fault. E's HR co-worker already sent The Hartford a message to reissue the check. The person apologized and said it SHOULD have been sent in my name.
And no, no sun. It's STILL snowing, just lightly now instead of big/fat flakes.
