The sun is shining here but it's a little chilly this morning -- looks like high 60's today.
We're off to the annual HOA Mtg - the first one being held since we (the homeowners) took over. It's already a poop show -- current board doing some sneaky last minute stuff to get someone on the board who is leaving our community on Monday. (and that can happen since the current by laws state a board member does NOT need to be an owner. That was fine when the builder was the board but no one thought ahead enough to get a vote changing it). We're guessing that may be one of the first things the new board does.
Anywaaaaaay. After that I'll head out with some girlfriends for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Husbands were invited but Kevin needs to bake 3 batches of brownies for our 5:00 church family Thanksgiving Dinner.
Running to the grocery store this morning for a few things. Then back to make some breakfast, and put up the Christmas tree. We we'll get it put up, but may not finish decorating it.
To keep our Hilton Honors status, we have to have 3 more stays at a Hilton property before the end of the year, so we picked one of them for tonight. And we'll go out to dinner at a favorite restaurant nearby.
Good luck with the stupid HOA.. I'm ever so grateful we don't live in a place that has one. And Kevin is making the brownies??
Hi there! I started at 6;:45 AM moving hanging light displays around town for a bucket truck to place on telephone poles, then I worked in the park till !:30. One painful day closer to knee surgery.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
We finally got the official letter that names me as administrator for my dad's estate. We closed out 2 bank accounts and opened up the estate account so we can finally pay the bills and get reimbursed for the bills we have paid out of pocket.
I have Christmas shopping done for 5 of the 6 grandkids. Need to finish up the last one and then get stocking stuffers.
My car broke down a few days ago and I was stuck for an hour waiting for the tow truck
A local cop pulled up behind me and waited with his lights on, so tomorrow I'm making a batch of cookies so I can take them to him on Monday.
We're watching my buckeyes whip up on UCLA! Go Bucks!
I filled up five more yard waste bags with leaves and then threw our suitcases, my golf clubs, and MrsSPH in the car and headed for the aeroport. We’re now on Alaska Airlines halfway across the Pacific (inflight WiFi is pretty cool!) on our way to Kona (Kohala actually). Gonna meet up with she-keet Nicole and her hubby Matt for a little sun break.🏌
It feels weird being the same age as old people….
