We had some pretty heavy rain a couple of hours ago but it only lasted about 10 minutes. The sun's out now but the forecast is for severe thunderstorms later
The minor league baseball season starts in less than 3 weeks so I was looking at the Pelicans schedule. There are some changes in the Carolina League. The Lynchburg Hillcats are still in Lynchburg but now they're the Hill City Howlers. The Salem Red Sox are now the Salem Ridge Yaks. The Carolina Mudcats moved from Zebulon, NC to Wilson, NC, about 25 miles away, and are now the Wilson Warbirds. Maybe I'll go to games against the Howlers, the Ridge Yaks and the Warbirds just to see what the uniforms look like.

Thyroid blood work at 10 this morning. Kevin came along so bc he wanted to stop at Starbucks. He had $30 on his account there bc I got a gift card as part of my last blood donation “rewards”. Yes, they are way overpriced but man are their Lattes yummy.
It’s been raining, thundering, windy, sunny, on a rotating basis.
We started watching “The Madison”, Taylor Sheridans new series. It stars Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer on lead roles. We like it. So far.
Stay warm, everyone! Went for an early morning walk today before work. I stopped halfway through and returned home since my jeans and shoes were completely drenched! Too tall for the umbrella to do its magic Also made a batch of cornbread and blueberry bread!
Have a great Monday, everyone...midweek is in sight
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!

Was wondering how that show was. I also started watching "Marshals" which is kind of an extension of "Yellowstone".
"Most of us here were introduced to Jimmy's music through this song."
I blame 'Come Monday' (‘74), 'APLAF' (74‘), 'Margaritaville' (77‘), or maybe 'CILCIA' (’77) for my JB addiction… 'Knees of My Heart' came out in ’84.
The first JB album I bought was probably CILCIA.
It feels weird being the same age as old people….

I love this song and bounced along to it live like a five year old. My intro was for Come Monday, but was pulled into Linda's better titled thread.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Oops! My bad. I was drawing a blank on alliteration lines for Monday.
