bodypainter wrote: March 18, 2026 4:43 pm Hi there! I had wings n fries for lunch and dipped the fries in ranch dressing.
...and Bubbles UP. That one makes her sad.
When I worked for Denny's in my teens, I would dip them in Thousand Island dressing.. years later, I switched to Ranch. YUM. :)

And I'm with Anne... I can NOT listen to Bubbles Up.
I had a burger and fries but I told them to hold the burger sauce, it's Thousand Island dressing. Who puts Thousand Island dressing on a burger? Ketchup is the only way to go.
A friend poured ketchup on all beef. I have seen him use a half of a bottle on king cut prime rib.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi Kids!

Had a fairly decent day today. Got a few compliments on the work I do and worked with some amazing people. Came home and bought myself a ticket to see the Reefers at the Knob in August. Excited to see them play a full set!

Other than that, same stuff different day. I am ready for warmer weather. This mid teens stuff is getting old.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

If my burger has shredded lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes and onions, then thousand island is my choice…. If just a patty, ketchup and mustard.

What?

Thousand Island dressing on a burger?

What? :o

You people are weird.

Thousand Island is for prawns. That's it.

Burgers? No.

Next you'll be telling me you don't have egg, bacon, pineapple and beetroot on your burgers.

Granted, it was a long time ago, but the last time I was down under in Rabbitz' Upsidedownland, I asked for dressing in a restaurant (Doyle's) and they brought me a jar of mayonnaise with a spoon in it.

Why were you eating a salad at Doyles? (Dressings are for salads). Doyles being a purveyor of the finest, freshest seafood, especially "back in the day".

Any concert is expensive anymore it seems. Tickets were pricy, but worth it to me.

Yes, we were fine dining harbor side and having fresh fish, and asked if it came with a vegetable. We were told that the vegetable was potatoes and we could have them mashed, baked, or as french fries. So then we asked about a green salad on the side and the waitress said they could do "something". She brought us each a small plate of chopped up lettuce. That's all, just some lettuce. That's when we asked if there was any dressing and we got mayo.
This was indeed "back in the day" and I'm sure the dining scene has caught up (a little bit) with current trends. On our next visit, the proliferation of "international" restaurants/cuisines was noticeable.
