Good early Morning gang!

The tax homestretch is in full swing.
Will be heading into work in a few hours & try to finish off a handful of drop off tax returns plus an appointment with a client who has been fortunate enough to spend the last month in Key West. He retired late last year from here in Michigan so i guess he decided to enjoy part of his 1st non working winter in Cayo Hueso. Lucky dog!

Good morning, Ken. I met Omit/Alan? from Detroit at Cincy. Hre was living a surf bum life. He had spent a month surfing before a Cincy concert. That was the way to retire!

I'm getting ready to leave for the Red Cross, I have an appointment to donate platelets in a little while. My last 2 appointments I was deferred because my hemoglobin was low. I've been eating a lot of raisins lately, maybe I'll be able to donate today.

No plans for me, other than catching my favorite show this evening. Took the mum to Target yesterday. She picked out ten big bags of candy... a lady came up to me and said, "Looks like you'll be ready for Halloween!" Got some more writing to do... I will probably play some Buffett in the background...Tampico Trauma is my new jam!

Just sent an email to the moving company I hired just to confirm we're good for next Saturday. I still have a fair bit to day, and Cameron is going to stop by today so I hand him some things from high shelves, that I'm just going to put in large bags (it's all of my sheets/comforters). Fun times.

Well, that went well.. Besides the bit of clothes hanging, the closet is empty.. well, I have a dresser I'll no longer be using in the closet, that's being donated. Cameron put together my wardrobe boxes, and Sarah helped put my comforters and sheets in large bags. I stored them in Cameron's old bathtub!!

Hi there! I pulled nails for 3 hours from 1x3 boards nailed over ooooolllllddd lathe and plaster in a house my friend is fixing for his daughter. They stripped the hose to the studs except for the room I worked on. Afterward I suggest and he agreed that the room be gutted too. I may take a hard pass helping do that.

Evening to all!
Finally got my new laptop up and running... it really was not a big deal!
My husband had spent so long moving his files to HIS new machine on Thursday, that I put off dealing with mine until today...
BUT because I had Microsoft Office 365 on my previous laptop, ALL my files and settings came over via OneDrive.
And when I installed Chrome, my bookmarks and even some passwords came too! Easy-Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

So to play a bit of catch-up...
Penny - your upcoming December Cruise with your former co-workers sounds great! It will be better to be with people on that crappy day... AND the dates take you through Christmas, too. Nice that you won't be alone on that day either!

Larry - I hope you were able to donate... I have not tried in a while... I hate that "rejection feeling."

Bill - Kudos to you for being so helpful! Neighbors like you are invaluable!

I was deferred again, but I'm getting closer. My last two appointments I was at 11.6 and 12.5, it has to be 13. Today I was 12.7. But on the way home I saw the Tesla with the NOFNGAS license plate again.

That makes Hockey Championship #11, best in the country. Well done DU Pioneers on your NCAA win!!!!!!!!! E would have been SOOOO happy!!! And I have happy tears!! ( I changed the picture, based on a friend who was actually there).

I'm glad I renewed my season tickets next year, so I can watch them raise the banner and the trophy.

It's funny that you see so many plates numerous times. And I couldn't give blood at a place called "Vitalant" here for the same reason. But at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, I'm acceptable.
