Sailing On A Summer Breeze SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. I have only sailed a few times, but still have great memories of dancing across the waves.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Sailing On A Summer Breeze SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good Morning Bill !!
It's a beautiful day in our neighborhood and the weather should continue all day. As the week progresses we are looking at low 80 temps. Obviously
this means several beach trips.
We had to call the police (we used the non-emergency #) again yesterday since Benjamin (the 10-yr-old from the crowd of 10 living across the street) crawled into the large cement drain box at our pond. I didn't get a picture of him going in since I was planting flowers but Kevin got a video of him crawling out of it. Never saw the police show up. We will call Child Social Services tomorrow. This continues to be out of control. We also have pics of 2yr old Warren hanging out the 2nd story window twice yesterday. Our HOA Board is doing everything they can to get the property owner nudged enough to not renew their lease.
This event should also force our Board to have the pond "skimmer" put back into the drain box. It was removed before "we" took over when a hurricane was scheduled to hit. Whoever removed it never put it back. That would at least keep Benjamin and anyone else from using that to help gain entrance into the box.
Stepping down off of my soap box now.

Not raining here yet, but give it time....
I'm goin' where the sun keeps shinin'
Through the pourin' rain
Goin' where the weather suits my clothes
Bankin' off of the northeast winds
Sailin' on a summer breeze
And skippin' over the ocean like a stone
A perfect song for Jimmy to cover
But the original was pretty good too...

Good morning Bill, Linda, and Mr. SPH.
Already started packing again.. the kitchen has the most work to be done, tho I did a decent bit yesterday.
Linda, good luck with the phone calls tomorrow. Hope it helps.
Mr. SPH, I like BOTH versions.
Back to the packing..

Good afternoon, BNers!
It is a beautiful day here... planning to head out for a nice long walk in a bit.
I need to balance not just 1 but 2 bank statements, as I never got to the Feb one (which came in March) when Jim was doing a crap-ton of stuff on our desktop, which has our Quicken software. BUT that will wait until after I get back!
Penny - CONGRATS to "your" DU Hockey team for their win! You are right, E must be smiling B-I-G TIME!
I am also thrilled for you that you decided to renew your tickets for next season!
Larry - They want a hemoglobin of 13?!
I can't recall when mine was ever that high! No wonder I am always rejected!
Linda - YIKES!!
Their lease not being renewed will help your neighborhood, for sure... BUT does nothing for those poor kids... it really sounds like protected services need to step in ASAP!

They stop by every week as the "mother" already has been charged with child neglect from 2023 when 2 children "in her care" tested positive for Cocaine. And a few yrs earlier a charge of delivery, intent, manufacture, conspiracy, etc.....illegal drugs.Caribbean Soul wrote: April 12, 2026 2:10 pm Good afternoon, BNers!

Good afternoon all!
Looks like everyone is having an eventful weekend. I'm thinking of heading to the theaters on Friday to see "Nobody."
It's been a while since I've gone...last I remember was the new Jurassic World movie. Very beautiful here in Bellingham, so I got out of the house and took a walk, and encountered upon a few stray cats. The Mum is starting her planting season with tiny starter pots. I will be cutting open the dirt bags momentarily.
Have a great evening, BN

Hi Kids!
Beautiful here in Michigan as well.was supposed to be rainy, but the clouds even opened up for sun this afternoon. About 80 but windy. Enjoying a Klondike bar—nice part of living alone is the only thing I had to do for it was to open the freezer and grab it
.
Not much else new. Back to work tomorrow. Someday I will be retired like the rest of you and not have to recall what day of the week it is….

Good evening peoples.
I was at BBQ festival last year and I saw a guy wearing a T-shirt that said I KNOW WHAT YOU DID FOR A KLONDIKE BAR (CALL ME).PetalMel wrote: April 12, 2026 5:48 pm Enjoying a Klondike bar—nice part of living alone is the only thing I had to do for it was to open the freezer and grab it.

Just took some more stuff to the dumpster... some foods from the freezer, some more hangers, stuff from the pantry, and saw one of our favorite neighbors (same building just the other side of the building) and we chatted for 20 minutes. When we had an electrical issue, and had no power last year, we both ended up in the same hotel. AND their parking space was right next to ours. Had a wonderful visit at the dumpster.

Sooo, I'm having moving curses... my hairdryer just died (don't have a backup that's not packed), and so did a light bulb in the living room, so I stole one from the office, but it's kind of a bluish light, not yellowish... Oy vey..

Is it me or does it feel all 1969 again?
The US is sending astronauts to the moon, fighting a useless war and their president is a crook.
The only thing missing is the tie-dye clothing...
It's just like deja vu all over again...

In 69 the president was less of a crook than this one, though. IMO, that is. I hate it here.Rabbitz wrote: April 12, 2026 10:25 pm Is it me or does it feel all 1969 again?

Other than tRump's 34 felony convictions, being found guilty of sexual assault, cheating on three wives, bankrupting muliple businesses, numerous fraud trials, etc, etc, they're pretty much alike. Oh, and let's not forget January 6th.... ever.PetalMel wrote:In 69 the president was less of a crook than this one, though. IMO, that is. This one is an evil, greedy, vulgar, nasty man with no apparent redeeming qualities.
