THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning Everyone!
Another sunny day here so we will head to the beach for a few hours today. Kevin's only "chore" today is to hammer some fertilizer stakes into the ground around the front yard palm tree. I've got nothing planned but my girlfriend gave me 2 tomato plants that grew up from seeds of a few dropped tomatoes from last year. I'm just going to put them in large pots.
We had our 1st hummingbird feeder visitor the other day. I've seen comments on a local fb page from "we've had several for a few weeks now" to "we've seen none yet this year". It's interesting that places just a few miles apart can be so different.
Have a great day!

Good morning, Linda. Rain overnight is ruining a day on the river, so no plans here.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good morning Linda and Bill.
I decided to go to the Pelicans game last night, but I didn't do what I did the last time I went to a game on my birthday. That time I talked my way onto the field and was one of about 5 or 6 people who got to throw out the first pitch. They had a girl, couldn't have been more than 12 or 13 years old, sing the national anthem before the game. She did a great job.
The Pelicans won 5-4 in 10 innings and I almost saw something I never saw before in a baseball game. Their first baseman hit home runs in his first 2 at bats. His 4th time up he hit a long fly ball to left field but it hit the top of the wall and stayed in the park, he got a double. I've never seen anyone hit 3 home runs in a game.
I did see something I never saw before. They played the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and one of the Kannapolis players had 5 at bats and he struck out all 5 times. Another one of their players was almost as bad, 5 at bats and 4 strikeouts.

Re: THURSDAY @ the MSC
Really weird weather here in the Upper LH Corner... yesterday we had thunder and lightning (which in itself if pretty rare around here) and it hailed harder than I have ever seen. By the time it was done, there was about an inch of it on the ground, it looked like it had snowed. Then this morning there was frost on the pumpkins. Well, it's the wrong time of the year for pumpkins, but if we'd had any, there woulda been frost on them.....

It feels weird being the same age as old people….

Good morning Linda, Bill, Larry, Debbie and Mr. SPH!
Larry, I'm glad you had such a nice time at the game last night.
Hopefully your hail will melt today, Mr. SPH!
Doing the pantry today and get that out of the way. Kitchen cabinets and drawers are empty. Then it's just those last minute things that I'll do tomorrow and Saturday morning.
Supposed to get a small amount of snow, and really cold overnight, which hopefully won't have slippery/icy conditions for my move (which starts at 9:00 am).

Evening BNers!
Larry - sounds like quite the night at that game! Too bad that double didn't fall the other way for that 3rd homer, a B-day "gift" to remember!
MrSPH - we had HARD rain here on the "RH side" (we're not quite the corner) there was a hail warning, but I did not hear any smacking on the skylights.
Penny - Gettin' real now... down to your final day+ in your "soon-to-be-old" place!
Well... speaking of "old"... it is official, I must be...
My firstborn turned 40 today!
How did that happen?!
And I forgot to mention that I had a VERY "productive" morning yesterday... I was able to get a Price Match refund from Best Buy for the two laptops we purchased last week... $300.00 (plus the $18.75 sales tax, too) on EACH machine!
I don't think I ever "made" that much in that short a time in any job I've had!

Re: THURSDAY @ the MSC
So, Sarah and Cameron came over twice.. Once to bring me Asian soup and potstickers, so I'd eat something...
Then they came back in a little while to help me wrap E's saber case, and take my spice rack down so it can be moved Saturday. I also didn't want the older small/older humidifier any more, so he took it to the dumpster for me.
I'm lucky to have the two of them.![hearts [smilie=hearts.gif]](./images/smilies/hearts.gif)

I was able to get a Price Match refund from Best Buy for the two laptops we purchased last week... $300.00Tomorrow I'll be at the new place making sure electric is turned on, and my phone and internet is hooked up. Then I'll come back here, whenever they're done, to pack t-shirts, shorts, socks in suitcases. Saturday I'll wake up early and pack freezer and fridge food in coolers. I have until the 25th to have everything moved out, which helps my feeling a rush to get it done. BUT, they will be remodeling this place, so I don't have to do things like clean the carpet and what not. I just want it to look fairly nice when I leave.
And I'm "older"... Cameron turned 43 in February..Happy birthday to yours!!

I must say, I'm in awe of your organization throughout this whole process!
I vaguely recall being very surprised he was that old...because I've got several years on you!
