That's just about when I had mine!
And thank you, MammaBear, for the reminder... as I need to schedule next year's squish.
For some reason, the tech can no longer do that at the time of my exam, something about a new "system"

Re: Get those Mammograms!!
Yes ladies, get those tests!
Mrs SPH was diagnosed on 10/29/10, she had surgery six weeks later, and then about a month later she started radiation therapy. She's had clean check-ups ever since and is very proactive in regular follow-ups.
My sister and one of her twn daughters (when she was only 29) had breast cancer. It turns out that my sister has an inherited gene mutation that causes the women in my family tree to be two to three times more likely to develop breast cancer. I went through the genetic testing to make sure that I didn't have it to pass it on to my 'keets
, and results show that I only have one of the two mutated genes that cause it.
Result and interpretation : ATM c.6119C>T, p.A2040V Positive
This participant’s DNA carries one normal and one mutant allele of the ATM gene. This sequence change replaces alanine with valine at codon 2040 of the ATM protein creating abnormal splicing and skipping of exon 42 (del 103 bp), leading to a stop at codon 2047. This result was validated by re-
sequencing the critical region of ATM. As this mutation is inherited, it is appropriate to evaluate other adult relatives for this sequence.

It feels weird being the same age as old people….

Re: Get those Mammograms!!
Mine will be scheduled in early May. Annual exam appointment to get the referral is end of the month. I rotate MRI and mammogram every six months due to family history.
Glad to know all my phriends in this thread are receiving the best news possible.
