I Got Nuthin' TUESDAY @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Hello!

Beautiful sunshine and a slight breeze although that breeze usually makes the temp about 10 degrees lower at the beach. We will wait until later in the weekend to go since the temps will be rising.

I'm going to the movies with a girlfriend. Haven't been to a theater in about 3 years. We are seeing "A Great Awakening". https://www.agreatawakening.com. It's a long one -- over 2 hrs.

That's it for me for today.

Have a wonderful day y'all :)

Good morning Linda, Debbie, and BN! :)

Another day of being exhausted at the end of the day... I slept for just about 10 hours...

But today I have a haircut, fill up my spice rack that hangs on the door (I couldn't find the brackets for it), and work on more clothes to empty from the wardrobe boxes.

It's also 4 months since E passed... and 1 week away from when his Celebration of Life is.

Time to get into the shower. Have a good Tuesday! :)

Yawn, nuthin' here either, too early..... 🥱
Guys came yesterday to replace the downed gutter.... 45 minutes, easy peasy lemon squeezy, 500 bucks.
While they were on the roof, I had them check for any problems; I have a couple of missing shingles and a little bit of moss buildup on the north side of the roof. I'm waiting for an estimate... I'm sure it'll be at least another $500. We put the second story on 26 years ago, I guess it's time for everything to start going. 🤷‍♂️

The problem is that the younger me didn’t think there’d be an older me and now the older me has a bunch of stuff to fix because the younger me was an idiot. :-?

The last time I went to the movies was a little over a year ago. I saw a documentary, Becoming Led Zeppelin. I enjoyed it, even though I was never a huge Led Zeppelin fan.

Sooo, Cameron came by after work at Noon, brought me some flowers, and helped me move a few things, then we decided to go look at rugs for the living room. Found one that I like a lot with my furniture. Then we went to lunch at a place called Newk's, like the same name of the one we used to go to in the Tampa area. :D It was pretty darn good food. Then he helped me move a few more things, and off he went to relax at home. SO grateful!!

Evening BNers!

Another beautiful day here in MA... maybe a bit chilly for some, but right up my alley!
After spending hours yesterday doing his Spring Clean-up (gathering fallen branches & raking up left-over leaves) and de-thatching the lawn) our landscaper finished up today with edging and mulch... everything looks great!! :D Which means it will probably snow!

Had several errands to run and needed to use Jim's car. He took his out of the garage early for a Dr''s appointment and left it in the street, when he got back, so that it would be accessible, while mine was blocked in the garage by the landscaper's truck. It felt so weird driving a sedan... I missed being up high enough to see easily! I've driven only SUVs (mid-sized ones, seating just for 5) since my 1997 JIMMY!

And I've really only driven smaller cars/sedans... this is my first 'taller' one. :D

That was me for 24 years! Several of them spent driving a Fiat Spider convertible, talk about LOW! :o
But I have become accustomed to driving a taller vehicle. They make seeing the road and getting in & out much easier!
I bet you will enjoy that too. Once you get used to it, there is no going back!

You'll get used to that. The cameras should help with that. But I have to be honest... I've had my rear-camera vehicle for 11 years now, and I STILL look over my shoulder when backing up!
