I'm so in awe of you MsMod, you've certainly done so much in the past four months!
Stay in touch with my insanity, there really is no other way
It's a jungle out there, kiddies, have a very fruitful day
The problem is that the younger me didn’t think there’d be an older me and now the older me has a bunch of stuff to fix because the younger me was an idiot.

Thank you for the video (again ), Mr. SPH.. And thank you for the kind words.. It's been a LOT to go through, but I just have to push forward, no other choice.

Like the man said, "There really is no other way...."
That said, it's been a busy year!

Birds are trying to build a nest on the sprinkler head right outside my door again, like they did last year. I've been going outside every morning and taking down whatever is up there, then scrubbing the concrete to get rid of the bird $h!t. One of my neighbors suggested putting something over the sprinkler, like a sandwich bag. I tried that but it didn't stop them.
I looked some suggestions, Larry... "Visual Scare Tactics: Hang reflective tape, aluminum foil, or used CDs in bright, windy areas to deter birds". I was thinking about covering the sprinkler head with the foil?
Hi there! We stopped at a funeral after a medial appointment an hour away. The neighbor died unexpectantly after surviving cancer and agent orange during Viet Nam.
On a happier theme, I am painting a palm tree onto the ceiling of Bern's sun room. I made a stencil of a leaf then cut a larger hole in plywood matching the leaf for stiffness. Stencil paper is very floppy. I practised painting through the stencil and it worked!
Then I tried palm leaves free hand and it was faster than the stencil.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
I was at Home Depot today and had to make way for 3 young construction worker types that were coming down the aisle towards me. One of them was pushing a large cart stacked high and heavy with bags of gravel (I'm guessing they were doing some foundation work). As they made their way down the row, one of them said to the guy pushing the cart "make sure you keep it between the navigational beacons".
It made me smile inside....

Aww... that would make me smile too!
Bill - Sorry about losing your friend... sounds like he beat a lot of odds... until he didn't.
Penny - I join the "I can't believe how much you have accomplished" club!
Larry - most hardware stores sell rolls of mylar ribbon to hang for bird-repelling. We use it to deter woodpeckers.
In Boston with... "this caribbean soul I can barely control and Long Island's always here in my heart"
