First time in a lonnnng time that Friday has arrived & I haven't thought about trudging back into a scheduled work day tomorrow. Not to say I won't putz around with some sort of "homework" but definitely a less stressful weekend schedule.

Going to see Clay Walker in concert tonight. Know nuttin' about him other than he's Country, but Lynn had been interested in going & with it being her birthday week I made the move to nab tix. Wish me luck

Made a decision yesterday to not spread E's ashes on Tuesday, then have his party. Just too difficult to make the timing all work. I think I'll save it for his birthday in May.

Doing some laundry today, changing bedding, and having dinner with one of E's co-workers.

That's about it for my Friday.

Nuthin' going on here, the weather is meh.... maybe get up to 64°, but at least no rain in the forecast.
Maybe try to get rid of more "stuff" in the basement and/or attic.

Good afternoon.

Another clean up on the beginnings of the birds nest on the sprinkler head. I wrapped it in aluminum foil this morning, maybe bright shiny things will get the birds to go somewhere else.

I looked at the Pelicans website to see how they've been doing this week, they're on another road trip and I've been paying more attention to playoff hockey than minor league baseball. Wednesday they were losing 12-4, then scored 4 runs in the last two innings but it wasn't enough of a comeback. They're playing the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Hey all,

I'm writing to you from the sun drenched Ocean Mist Hotel in Yarmouth! Got here around 830et last night, drove into town at 930 for coffee. McDonalds was pretty much the only place open, and it was comparable to my usual Dunkins! Returned to the hotel just in time for Gutfeld, and tucked in at 1130.

I got up around 5 this morning to catch the sunrise Drove into town for breakfast, then some mini golf, then to see a lighthouse, and lastly a little restaurant called Skippers. Now, I'm just staring out on the ocean! Very happy with the oceanfront room

I'll post pictures over the weekend... Have a great Friday afternoon, everyone!

So, I emptied about 10 more boxes (some small, some big), and also got my 3 wardrobe boxes emptied. It all fits in my closet. My sister wants the boxes, so they're in the garage. Cameron will come over after work (7:00) to help me drag empties to the dumpster... at least I don't have to walk up a hill to get there.

I also changed the bedding on the bed, washing two loads of sheets and a comforter. And another load of laundry of 'normal' stuff. Found some more cups/glasses and my silverware/cooking utensils. Got those put away, too.

I'm pooped. Going to dinner with a friend from E's work at 5:00..

Hi ther! Great read on Jerry's vaca! My day on water was good, but not that good. I watched a bald eagle harrassed multiple times by a crow. Sometimes the pecking order is reversed.

The football draft in Pgh had 350,000 fans show up. Some parking was 200$ with rooms hitting 400$.

Another beautiful day here in MA!
Our A/C is serviced and declared ready to go. The tech finished early enough for me to get out for a nice long walk on the SNETT, because I had done my necessary weekend grocery shopping in the morning before the maintenance appointment!

Jerry - you definitely lucked out weather-wise for your Cape getaway, and it sounds like you got the room upgrade you wanted too, you are ocean front! Yarmouth is a nice area of the Cape.., much less commercial than Hyannis, but not as remote as farther out past Harwich! ENJOY!
Oh, and according to Instagram, my daughter's in-laws are somewhere on the Cape now, too ... taking photos of lighthouses!

Larry - that is certainly an interesting headline! Hope the foil deters those birds!! They seem very persistent!

Penny - I think commemorating E's birthday by spreading his ashes is even better than doing it on the 28th. Good call!
