It's going to be another scorcher here in SC. We'll be heading to the beach after Kevin walks our neighbor's dog at 11:30. Jax's owner, Jim, is an 88 yr old Veteran who is an amazing man. He lives 2 doors away and we've had him join us for holiday meals a few times. He has some very interesting stories. Jax is a pure-bred, 100 lb yellow and was a full-time breeder. He's very docile and friendly and moves slowly just like his new owner.
Our community pool finally opened last week (the season is April 1 - October 1). Work began on the deck in November and completion kept getting pushed out. Since the developer was responsible for all of the repairs - which included a complete redo of the pool deck - they were in no hurry to get the job done. Even though it's been really hot the water is still very cold. But it will eventually be warm enough that the adults won't mind getting wet.

I do like my 80's Hair band rock so I'd be interested in Dokken but not sure about Lynn. I know nothing of country guy Rodney Atkins, although he's probably up Lynn's alley 
. I had an appointment with my kidney doctor. My BP was a little high which is unusual 
And apparently I have another UTI. Bryan is picking up the antibiotic on his way home from work. I went to Walmart after my appointment and ordered a new pair of glasses 
I needed a stronger prism to stop my double vision at distance. They'll be ready by the end of the month.
We're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Yikes! I wonder if folks can get a partial refund on their HMO dues for it being 7 weeks late?
